What happened to Dr Cartland as he explains in his video (below) should disturb anyone who still believes we live in a free society governed by fairness and due process. Some of us know Dr Cartland personally at Lighthouse through his struggles and persecution as a Christian and therefore we all relate personally to his case. We are sickened by how a man who cares deeply for his patients can be treated so abhorrently and callously by fellow human beings that operate behind Establishment institutions.
His case exposes how the Establishment enforces a narrative and punishes those who step outside it or question and challenge it. Dr Cartland did not harm patients, commit a crime, or abuse his position. His offence was ideological: questioning Covid policy, challenging official claims, and prioritising safeguarding concerns over compliance. Remember this is Government policy that has been exposed as a) extremely flawed and ineffective and b) policy that our own government disobeyed and violated while ordering us to obey it. For that, his professional life was destroyed.
But the punishment did not stop there. The system moved beyond silencing his medical career and into the destruction of his private life. By placing him on a barred list (through the British Disclosure and Barring Service), the state effectively labelled him a danger to children and vulnerable adults without evidence, trial, or wrongdoing. This removed his ability to volunteer, to referee grassroots football, and to participate in ordinary community life and worse, to even watch his children play football. Even these areas of personal joy and service were taken from him. In a letter he received from the regulatory body involved in this area they said,
“It’s acknowledged that being included on the adults and children’s bar list would significantly impact your future career volunteering opportunities as well as impacting your earning capacity and lifestyle. We also realise that this can impact your mental health, provide stigma and affect your general well-being.”
Yet Dr Cartland’s health, safety and wellbeing is sacrificed for the sake of the Establishment agenda and an alleged crime where there have been no victims! This is how control of the masses works. When you challenge the deceptive narrative, institutions collaborate to isolate you, destroy your livelihood, stigmatise you, and make an example of you. The message is unmistakable: dissent will cost you everything, even if you are innocent. This kind of control is not enforced by a single authority acting alone, but through a web of institutions quietly reinforcing one another as we at Lighthouse have experienced too. Professional regulators, government departments, safeguarding bodies, employers, media outlets, and even voluntary organisations begin to move in the same direction, each justifying their actions by pointing to decisions made elsewhere. Responsibility is diffused, accountability disappears, and yet the outcome is devastatingly precise: the individual is psychologically, reputationally and financially assassinated without touching a hair on their head.
Once a person like Dr Cartland is marked as “non-compliant” or ideologically unsafe, every system they touch becomes hostile towards them. Regulators remove licences, databases flag names, employers back away out of fear, and community organisations suspend involvement “pending review.” What makes this especially dangerous is that it is framed as safeguarding, professionalism, or risk management, when in reality it functions as collective punishment for dissent.
David Cartland never set out to be anti-establishment. He was and remains deeply concerned for the welfare of human beings young and old. He saw children suffering from a supposed vaccine. He saw people dying where they ought to have been living. He saw the dots did not add up, so he listened to his conscience.
The solution for us citizens is not waiting for these systems to correct themselves. It lies with people empowering themselves, understanding who the Establishment are and building a real community to protect ourselves and each other. By strengthening character and developing the relevant knowledge, skills and their application, a genuine community is created that is united. This community is far harder to intimidate or control. That is where taking a stand for what is right and righteous and opposed to tyranny truly begins.
David is doing everything he can to defend himself, clear his name and, crucially as he always has, take care of the needs of others.

God bless you David. I am so glad to know you are still here and still fighting for what is right and that you’re not giving in. I am NOT pleased about how they are trying to strip away everything from you including the blessing of being able to referee and be involved in the development of young people. However, I believe and trust that everything they throw at you and any of us, will only come back to expose them and reveal who they really are. God bless Dr Cartland. He’s had the courage to fight against what he saw was wrong and he has paid the price. How his personal life has been destroyed is beyond disgraceful, it is evil because it is done in the name of good when the authorities know that it is no such human thing. This is institutional assassination.

I have been appalled at what the establishment have done to try to break down your soul and your spirit.
Many have been completely broken and driven to the point of taking their own lives for far less than what you’ve endured. What you’ve been through is a testimony to the fact that such a character assault can happen to anyone who dares to speak up and speak out against the establishment agenda.
Yet when citizens, especially Christian citizens, come together we are more capable of protecting ourselves and each other against such tyranny.

This is outrageous! The way the establishment is going after this man, a valuable member of society, a father and family man with such malicious vindictiveness and desire to destroy his life is abominable. The fact they are doing so, “without evidence, trial, or wrongdoing.” should tell you all you need to know. We are living in an increasingly tyrannical state that does not care about truth, about free speech, about necessary discourse, about care and putting the interests of the public first. They care about their political goals and agendas. That they are doing this under the guise of “safeguarding” is chillingly evil. What they are really safeguarding is their ideology and agendas against their wrongdoing and bad practices being revealed and exposed for the public to see. God bless you David and all the other whistleblowers out there sacrificing their careers and so much more. What has happened to David is absolutely disgusting. Here is a man who cares for the lives he took an oath to take care of, what has he done that is so terrible that he is struck of? He hasn’t caused any harm to anyone. He hasn’t abused anyone yet he is treated as if he has.

If someone is being struck off simply because they raise questions or share perspectives that challenge the official narrative, that’s not accountability — that’s censorship motivated by fear of what might be uncovered.
