This example isn’t about politics. It’s about indoctrination.
In a street interview, college students were asked to rate Donald Trump’s State of the Union address. There was just one problem: the speech hadn’t happened yet!
And yet several students confidently rated it zero, one, or two out of ten. They criticised it as “incoherent,” “all over the place” and “poorly articulated”. They would rather lie than admit it had not already taken place.
They weren’t reacting to reality. They were defending a perception that had been indoctrinated into them! Whatever Donald Trump had or had not done, they could never afford to be positive in any way towards him. So they would prefer to scam the interviewer. Scamming is more than telling a lie. It is becoming part of a system where you don’t question what doesn’t suit your beliefs, beliefs that you haven’t chosen but you believe you have.
The Power of the Indoctrination Machine
This is the power of the indoctrination machine within Scamtology as we showed recently. When someone’s internal narrative feels threatened, truth isn’t important when it does not work for them. Rather than pause and say, “I haven’t seen it,” or “Maybe I should check,” they filled in the blanks. They would rather override their conscience and purport a pre-existing narrative to a stranger, on camera, than challenge the belief they already hold.
That is not ignorance.
That is scamming: psychological protection of identity. Many of these young students have grown up immersed in mainstream media environments where the message has been consistent: anything associated with Trump is bad. Whether one agrees or disagrees politically is irrelevant here.
The point is this: when perception has been shaped long enough, evidence becomes seemingly unnecessary.
The Power of Control in Scamtology
In the religious cult of Scamtology, control begins with perception management. You don’t force compliance. You cultivate it. You create an atmosphere where certain conclusions feel morally correct before facts are even examined, even when those conclusions are blatantly wrong.
People then cooperate with the system while believing they are thinking independently.
- They feel informed.
- They feel righteous.
- They feel free.
But their “choices” were pre-conditioned.
If from childhood you are repeatedly shown who the villain is, who the hero is, what is acceptable, what is dangerous — your reactions become predictable. The Establishment does not need to script your words. It only needs to script your assumptions.
In this case, the students’ hatred overrode honesty and humility. Their worldview was so fixed that they supplied details about an event that had not even occurred. Reality was inconvenient. So they substituted narrative.
What exacerbates the power of the Establishment is that they don’t need to enforce their control through top-down mechanisms. Indeed they can instill bottom-up conformity. People police themselves. They repeat what they believe they are supposed to believe. They defend positions they have not verified. And if confronted, many double down rather than reconsider.
Why People Allow Themselves to be Victims of Scamtology
Because challenging the narrative means challenging their tribe, their identity, their moral positioning. Their whole identity is based on things outside of themselves, rather than what is intrinsic, which makes them incredibly vulnerable and fragile. That is painful. And most people avoid painful truth in favour of comfortable certainty.
If someone can confidently critique a speech that never happened, imagine how easily other opinions are formed — about economics, health, history, religion. This is the warning.
What Can We Do About It?
Recognise that indoctrination by Scamtologists is strongest when the subject believes they are immune to it. When lying feels justified because it serves a “greater good.” When emotional certainty replaces factual engagement.
Learn just how quickly perception, fuelled by heightened emotion, can override reality and how willingly people will participate in spreading fiction to protect the worldview they were given. See this in yourself. That this is how control sustains itself. Not by chains. But by conviction without verification.
Recognise that the Establishment and their scams have been deliberately orchestrated to suppress your human potential. Learn more about what your potential is and your human endowments of Self-Awareness, Conscience, Creative Imagination and Independent Will and how our work at Lighthouse is about enabling you to increase your levels of these endowments starting with knowledge of your self-awareness. This is gobsmacking in terms of how indoctrinated people are. But the reality is, this is just an extreme version of something all of us do!! We all inflate ourselves, make statements that are white lies or worse, just to feel confident. How many times I’ve agreed with people in conversations when I didn’t know what I was talking about because I didn’t want to look like a fool… but this is getting to epidemic levels of insanity and idiocy. It isn’t harmless either. It shows how easily people can be emotionally manipulated to hate someone without cause, without evidence… where does that go? Chaos, breakdown in society. This is serious where we are as a society and world! God have mercy on us.
Fantastic article, this is so insightful!! In-sight full. We must become more aware as human beings of both our potential (that is God-given) and also the obstacles, barriers and restraining forces to that potential, starting with the cult of scamtology!!
This is pretty shocking, although increasingly not surprising.
The more I learn about the Establishment and its tactics, the more I see how much of a dupe and a sucker I’ve been. I see how this is all orchestrated. It’s tragic that some of the supposedly most educated young people on the planet are unable to see past their personal bias and prejudice. It looks stupid, because it is by definition of stupidity… an unintelligent use of intelligence.
These college students are racking up lifelong debt whilst not developing academic rigour to the level they ought to be at in line with their God-given human potential.
What was revealing is how the girl at the end of the video clip who saw the reality was actually the one who was the least confident in her answer.
“In the religious cult of Scamtology, control begins with perception management. You don’t force compliance. You cultivate it.”
Wow! As has been said, this is not about politics but how our beliefs, our thinking, opinions, all the way to our decisions, can be managed through perception by the Establishment.
We need to wake up to how we override our own consciences for a pre-existing narrative that feels more comfortable, how we allow our God-given potential to be destroyed through the conditioning of a system that has much to gain from our indoctrination and we need to recognise how vulnerable we are because we are disunited and uninformed, ignorant of who is really pulling the strings and manipulating and managing the choices we believe we are making of our volition.
A great example of how easily we manipulate ourselves into believing that we are maintaining our position while still acting with integrity. It also shows how hard it is to speak the Truth and to swim against the current. This demonstrates that we all need to develop a stronger backbone and a willingness to endure discomfort and stand up for the truth when we disagree with certain things.
This shows the importance of discernment.
God bless.
What is scary is that in other areas of my life I have been as indoctrinated as these students. Indeed while not as extreme, I’ve certainly been indoctrinated against President Trump through the mainstream media until I started to research what he actually says!
Group identity has taken over reason in this crazy world. We’d rather lie and feel part of a group, even if that group is hating – than research and search for the truth! The Establishment knows how easily they can manipulate and scam us, especially through systems like the media where we’ve grown up trusting certain brands and publications.
This article cuts right to the heart of the problem — how far people will go to protect a narrative they’ve invested in. Once the story becomes part of someone’s identity, defending it becomes more important than truth. That’s when you see distortion, deflection, and even aggression not because of evidence, but because the narrative itself feels threatened. Thank you for exposing that dynamic so clearly.
I feel the bitter pill in seeing how normal it has become to scam, especially ourselves. I value the little lives most live because they have been scammed out of their potential, settling for a nice life, in a nice house, with a nice job, etc, but they really are not truly happy, just settling for what they can get. It is a very slow slip into hell. Hearing the truth will burn, but it is surely freeing. Thank you for the constant lessons.
Any society that truly wanted to empower its citizens and act in their best interests would educate their children about Scamtology from a young age to protect them from being controlled and misled. Except they don’t, because that’s exactly what the global establishment wants to do, to control and manipulate the people as much as possible! The line here that really stood out to me was “You don’t force compliance. You cultivate it.” Boom 💥 Exactly! That’s why the article on the scam of the education system this one links to is so important in line with what we see happening here, that is where this begins, by disabling and disengaging our critical thinking. We have all been affected by this and need information like this consistently to wake us up and keep us alert to it. Thank you for a great piece!
It is frightening that the power of collective thinking and lack of questioning and discovering facts for one’s self will result in everyone just following the heard and making statements on events that haven’t even happened yet.
If this can happen in this tiny microcosm experiment, then the implications across whole nations and societies is huge!
As Paul has been sharing, we are indoctrinated, educated and scammed into becoming scammers ourselves. Just knowing that those students believed that they watched President Trump when it hadn’t even happened proves just how scammed they and we are. They scammed themselves into believing that they watched Trump, and because of the lies they had heard about him, they believed it.
We are under attack by the establishment in the way they are scamming us. This is why these articles are so critical: to help us understand, wake up, become less blindsided, and see the scams as they unfold. God bless us all
