There was a single financial transaction in 1694 whose creation controls your financial life, because you have been paying for it personally ever since!!
This transaction changed everything. It is the foundation of the modern British monetary system. From that moment, the state did not simply create money. It borrowed it from a private company. And interest was attached. Interest you pay from tax on your earnings your whole life and a variety of other ways.
That private company was…
The Bank of England!
It is one of the greatest financial scams in history.
Why This Matters To You – The Genuine Public Interest
In 1694, a Scottish financier named William Paterson arranged a £1.2 million loan to the King of England to fund a war. In exchange, the lenders were granted the right to form what became the Bank of England — with the extraordinary privilege of issuing the nation’s currency.
Today you live inside this system that they created
- Your wages are paid in this system.
- You are taxed in this system.
- Your savings sit in banks that operate within this system.
- Your mortgage rate rises and falls with central bank decisions.
- Your retirement age depends on this system and invests heavily in government bonds that are central to how this system operates.
This system is a scam that requires continuous expansion to remain stable “in the name of the public interest”. Therefore, trillion dollar companies receive special conditions and incentives from the government. Periodic crises are not anomalies, they are deliberate features. Features set up by the Establishment you end up paying for, to your detriment. Features which again are justified as being “in the public interest” to supposedly “help” you the citizen be “protected”.
Understanding central banking does not mean rejecting modern society. It means recognising that money is not a fixed store of value, it is a managed instrument. And managed instruments can be mismanaged.
The question is whether you understand the power it wields over your life.
Because when money is backed not by gold, but by debt and confidence, stability rests on trust. And we all know that trust can be broken. The only real protection against being quietly controlled by a system…is understanding how it was built in the first place.
The Power You Don’t See – Deliberately Hidden By The Establishment
Most people will happily debate elections, policies, and politicians — The political layer absorbs public anger. You will blame politicians. You will blame corporations. You will blame foreign events.
But almost no one studies the machinery that sits above them. That is something deliberately orchestrated by the Establishment so that they can control you without you even knowing. They need you to remain ignorant and hence your ignorance is not accidental.
We are taught to think that the government holds power. That Parliament debates, votes, decides. That economic outcomes are the result of political competence or incompetence.
So when people speak about “the government” they miss the hidden power of central banks controlled by the Establishment.
Fiat Currency: Money Backed by…Trust
Today, the pound is not backed by gold. It is not anchored to a tangible commodity.
It is fiat currency, paper money printed by central banks and backed by confidence in the Government’s ability to pay the interest from your taxes!.
This is not a conspiracy. It is how the system was set up. Critics describe this as a Ponzi-like architecture, not in the legal sense of fraud, but in the structural sense that continuous expansion is required to maintain stability. (The irony is, if you and we did what the Establishment does in terms of creating currency, it would be fraud.) Growth must continue. Debt must roll over. Confidence must be maintained.
If confidence breaks, the system is destroyed.
Your Complacency Enables The Establishment To Continue The Scam
The greatest power is not exercised through force. It is exercised through complexity.
When systems become too technical for the average citizen to understand, accountability weakens. People defer to “experts.” They assume someone else is overseeing it. They believe that person has the “public interest” at heart.
But monetary systems determine the direction of wealth flow across society. When new money enters the system, it does not land evenly. It flows first through financial institutions and asset markets who take the biggest cut before filtering outward for you to pay for it. That alone should prompt deeper fascination!
What Can You Do About It?
We are not saying that you ought to take all your money from your bank account and hide it under your mattress. For a start if everybody did that, there would be a financial collapse (however the Establishment would probably put a freeze on your account before that happens, as was the case in Argentina in 2001 which we will shortly be bringing you an article on).
Indeed the answer is not simple. However it does start with study. It requires historical awareness that the money in your account could become worthless tomorrow. What would you do then?
It requires understanding that the banking system controls most of the world. You cannot change this.
This has been what Lighthouse has been saying for over two decades. Develop your character and competencies so that you build value starting with yourself. Develop your ability to build skills that are valuable. Money can become worthless overnight. Your character and your ability to build value in a crisis can’t and won’t. This is why we have been attacked. The Establishment wants you to be at their mercy and under their control.
So start developing knowledge of yourself. Start understanding the Scamtology you have been born into. Start building your community. Not just a “network”. We’re talking about high-trust, character-rich. People you can count on when chaos surrounds you. People who won’t betray you when money’s on the table. And if you think you have a good community because you go to church on a Sunday or play football together, ask yourself, do you really know your own and other’s characters in moments of immense distress? Lighthouse will shortly be providing further guidance on all of this. You can start by reading our daily updates and articles if you’re not already.
You can start to make better practical decisions. For example, you can learn why experts recommend you keep a small percentage of your assets in metals like Gold. You can start to question whether you really need that extra item of clothing or whether that money could be invested in shares that produce dividends. You can start to develop your community and understand why when the Argentinian economy collapsed, its citizens thrived under a barter system.
If you do not understand the foundation of the system, you cannot understand your vulnerabilities to its power.

So the entire economic system, and the entire UK currency within it, is not only a scam, but one that has perpetuated for hundreds of years. It makes organisations like the Insolvency Service, who have provably bullied companies over financial matters, a complete laughing stock. It exposes them and so many others for the Scamtologists they are.
This has been extremely eye-opening to say the least! What it’s revealing more than anything is how little I’ve questioned and investigated why we have an economic system in the way we do. None of this was taught in lessons I attended at school and university. Supposedly I have a degree in business, but I never learnt about what actually matters in life and business. So I came out of Higher Education completely unprepared with the wool pulled over my eyes. Again I’m asking… if this is what’s in the public domain, what is there that’s not in the public domain that affects my life in significant ways?
This really makes you stop and reflect on how institutions like the Bank of England and Wall Street have shaped the global financial system in ways most of us were never taught to question. Incredible!
This clearly shows how much we have been manipulated and indoctrinated by the Establishment, and how a small number of people are able to abuse the system for their own benefit. I had no idea about the origins of the financial system and modern currencies, yet I can clearly see how many people suffer under the pressures and distortions created by it.
Understanding these foundations, I believe, changes the way we see the world. It helps us recognise the structures that shape our lives and the responsibility we have to question them.
This is what real education ought to be about: learning the deeper systems behind society, asking fundamental questions, and seeking truth so we can build a more just and meaningful future.
Thank you.
I knew from my A-level economics thank banking was a scam but I had no idea that the Bank of England was initially a private company (as the Federal Reserve now is) and the powers it has which keeps us in debt to the Establishment. I was not taught this during my economics degree either!! God bless my economics teacher. He wasn’t beholdened to the system in the same way economics professors are.
When I first learned of FIAT and how our financial system was based on debt and how the modern banking systems work, as opposed to how they have in the past and the fact the Bank of England is actually a private institution I was blown away! I had no idea and it was humbling to realise how much blind trust I’d placed on the Escamlishment! It’s not that they are lying to us directly so much as they, the establishment, deceive by not telling us the truth of how things actually are. By not explaining plainly the way our economy works. They rely on our complacency and bamboozle by making it so complicated it deters any interest in it. They know exactly what they are doing and how much of a scam it is. The reality makes a mockery of our governments and financial systems and exposes their hypocrisy in being the greatest scammers of them all. The more we wake up and educate the public to these things the more we can work for change!
This kind of piece makes you realise how little most of us are ever taught about how the financial system actually works. We’re expected to participate in it our whole lives, yet the mechanisms behind it are rarely explained in any honest or accessible way. When you start looking closer, it raises serious questions about who really benefits and why the public conversation around it stays so shallow.
A very enlightening article. I see the need to understand the financial system better as I didn’t realise how fragile it actually is.
I’ve been of the mind that this system isn’t ideal and that it could be very different. Now that I’m maturing I can see how designed it is to be this way. I can see how the system is rigged for the people at the bottom to bear the brunt, that we pay the interest on the debt. That screams slavery and us being owned, essentially.
Is this narcissistic, or is it a deeper situation where it’s intended for us all to sell our souls because we are so indebted that it feels like the only course of action outside of God?
What you are sharing here is something the establishment will not want us to know and understand. Thank you once again for opening our eyes to the world of the scam that is the establishment economic system.
I am reading this aghast…we are in a system that has been set up without our knowledge and governs our lives in ways we didn’t consent to. The audacity and sheer gall of this satanic establishment continues to sicken me deeply!
