We are publishing this out of grave concern for Jeffrey Leigh-Jones.
It is careless, abusive and dangerous for the BBC to take a person as emotionally fragile as Jeffrey and make him the “star” and public face of such an abomination of a broadcast, “A Very British Cult”. At best, it is a gross level of misjudgement. More accurately, it is predatory manipulation and coercion by Jeffrey’s family, the Reddites (Anonymous Predatory Trolls on Reddit) and the BBC team behind this hit piece. They conspired to leverage him to knowingly lie to the BBC and deceive their global viewership/listenership. This cold and calculated evil has placed him and them all under the greatest possible risk and shame on the global stage.
Despite all our efforts and three years of legal, lawful, civil and peaceful attempts — using every possible avenue — to gain a full and comprehensive right to reply to every falsehood and malicious lie in their programme, it has finally become clear the BBC will not grant this to us. No genuine, thorough, impartial investigation took place by the BBC into Lighthouse, despite our encouragement and efforts to bring this about. Nor was the due time, money and effort spent on investigating our false accusers such as Jeffrey.
Therefore, we are never, ever going to stop in obtaining justice and holding all tyrants, wrongdoers and Scamtologists individually accountable. What has been done to us is horrendous, through hundreds of lies and falsehoods broadcast globally. These lies can and will never be upheld. With everything we have, the FULL AND COMPREHENSIVE truth is going to come out imminently. We will in no way let this drag out for 10 or 20 years, as the Establishment has done with so many other victims. Every tactic and institution that has been used or weaponised against us will only expose these individuals’ wrongdoing and malice even more. We pray for the redemption of these predators as well as Jeffrey – a victim turned predator. All Glory to God.
Introducing The Tragic Case of Jeffrey Leigh-Jones
Jeffrey Leigh-Jones was coercively forced to be the main poster-boy of the BBC’s hit-piece on Lighthouse, “A Very British Cult”. He wasn’t just forced to front it. Like all satanic institutions, he was put forward as a living sacrifice. His vulnerability and naivety were perfect for the BBC to take advantage of. Someone as sycophantic as him who could be used and, if needed, blamed for the BBC’s criminal behaviour. When the BBC are ultimately held accountable, they are going to try and dump it on their sources and the team behind it. They will try to shift the blame, as they always do. This is exactly why they will take someone like Jeffrey and the other sources and blame them when it comes down do it, even though they knew they were lying.
Jeffrey came to Lighthouse in 2019 as a young man seeking to rebuild his life. He had just broken up with a girlfriend, was struggling with deep alcoholism, chronic depression, along with a history of self-harm and a suicide attempt in his youth.
During his time as a Lighthouse client, he received an enormous amount of support, including pro-bono mentoring. He managed to wean off alcohol which he was addicted to, secure a new job, regulate his emotions and found a new girlfriend (who would later tragically be the major antagonist in his downfall). He was being supported, sadly, like he had never before been in his life. Jeffrey reached a point of receiving so much value and support which he benefited enormously from, that he wanted to invest in the development of others at Lighthouse. These were individuals who were also receiving, up until that point, a lot of pro bono mentorship coaching and support.
Like every little boy who ought to be a man, Jeffrey wanted to be a hero. A star. A legend, like Ernest Shackleton, the legendary explorer. Instead he has shackled himself to the public shame and deceit of “A Very British Cult” that he well knows to be maliciously false. As Jeffrey stated at the beginning of the BBC programme, he was nervous – and rightly so – but not for the reasons he gave. He was not nervous about talking about an alleged cult. He was nervous to say the least, because anyone who wilfully deceives a global audience on the level he did, ought to be absolutely terrified, let alone nervous.
He knew it then and he knows it now.
What he did was heinous… and we want him to know that there is a way out of this toxic hell hole he is in. He has been used and spat out by the BBC… what now?
What held Jeffrey back, along with his own insecurities, was a deeply possessive, toxic family, including his new girlfriend Dawn. He was and is incredibly sycophantic; to his own girlfriend, to his family and to the BBC. This is not new. This is the same Jezebel spirit that has existed for thousands of years and can be seen plainly in Dawn Ingram.
The BBC Were Warned in Advance and Ignored The Warning!
On the 4th April, 2023, the day before the broadcast of “A Very British Cult”, Shaun Cooper, co-director of Lighthouse Global (then Lighthouse International Group) sent an email to the main producer of the programme, Ravin Sampat, as well as BBC Director General, Tim Davie. One of the main purposes of the email was to warn the BBC and all staff involved in “A Very British Cult”, that they were putting Jeffrey in grave danger! Shaun and the Lighthouse team were aware that the BBC knew this already – they had done their research into Jeffrey’s past and his already prior suicide attempt in his teens. We wanted to make sure our concerns were on record, so the BBC could not feign ignorance or non-culpability, as they so often try to do.
Even if every allegation the BBC implied were true (they are absolutely, provably and evidently not), it would still be extremely dangerous if not completely psychopathic to select someone with Jeffrey’s known fragility, and history of suicide ideation, and then push him forward as the public spearhead of the broadcast.
And if, God forbid, anything happens to Jeffrey in the aftermath of this dark, self- and mutually destructive abomination, we anticipate the BBC will attempt to launder their culpability by implying the cause was “Lighthouse” or “the consequences of him lying to Lighthouse”. That would be a lie built on another lie. Jeffrey’s deep personal trauma and crises predated Lighthouse and originated in his family. We tried to help him. We warned the BBC explicitly. They ignored the warning.

Threat To Life From The BBC’s Unethical Behaviour
We have warned you profusely of the threat to life that your actions and efforts stand to have on people who have suffered bullying and abuse from others their whole lives. This goes for those still at Lighthouse and those who have left, including Mr Leigh-Jones and the position you… coaxed him into. You are very aware of this critical factor and so to allow your colleagues to stage such a harassing and mendaciously staged ambush in light of this is highly irresponsible and callous. It is not only of great embarrassment to those involved but further evidence of the BBC’s unethical and unconscionable sensationalism and tactics regarding this production. There is no excuse for this when you have finally accepted our evidence and stated so, which was very late in the day, giving us very little time to compile that as part of a full and fair disclosure of the facts and you know it.
Specific Concerns For Mr Jeffrey Leigh-Jones
With the above in mind, we also want to make it very clear to you about the risk your broadcast poses to your source, Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, whose mental health and well-being is historically known to be fragile. Mr Leigh-Jones came to Lighthouse after having attempted to take his own life in his younger years because of the abuse and trauma he suffered within his own family. This is extremely important to take special consideration because he is an individual already at risk. If anything were to happen to him, God forbid, then you and the BBC would bear responsibility and need to answer for this. The information we are now putting out in order to counter all the nonsense you are writing exposes Mr Leigh-Jones and his private life and that of his mother and father terribly. The chances of him committing suicide, after all this sensationalism is over, are extremely high. If that were the case, you having ignored this warning (here in writing), would be incredibly damning to you and the BBC.
Important Clarification: Jeffrey’s Crises Predated Lighthouse
We put this on record because it matters, especially if the BBC later attempts to reframe any tragedy as “proof” of their maliciously false narrative.
Jeffrey’s suicidality did not begin with Lighthouse. Jeffrey attempted to take his own life years prior to meeting anyone at Lighthouse, because he was utterly distraught at the breakdown of his family which is recorded in a letter we have that he sent to his father, which he shared with us. A further breakdown including betrayal in a romantic relationship compounded this collapse.
When Jeffrey came to Lighthouse he came as someone already damaged and devastated by his past. He was already at risk. We tried to help him. We did help him. And we warned the BBC, in writing, that he was an extremely high suicide risk. That is why the BBC’s decision to push him forward as the face of their broadcast is so irresponsibly grotesque and indeed, psychopathic.
There were also people around Jeffrey who were toxic and controlling, and who sabotaged his ability to genuinely rebuild. If others pushed Jeffrey forward in this programme to preserve themselves then that is another layer of evil: destroying his life to shield their own. We will be exploring this evil in more detail when exposing the Reddites, led by Richard Thomas of Monetate.
Paul Waugh’s Open Letter to Jeffrey
In 2024, Paul Waugh, Lighthouse CEO, and a man who deeply cares for Jeffrey, through his love, mentorship, coaching, counselling and brotherly Christian love, wrote an open letter to Jeffrey. We share it again here in the hope that Jeffrey hears this and realises there is always redemption and hope through Jesus Christ.

Paul’s Introduction to the Letter
I wrote it because I wanted to appeal in some way to any heart and any spirit and any Christ that’s still in him, if at all.
I wanted to speak to him as a brother without being a brother because I don’t know if he’s a brother. I don’t know that. But I want to speak to him as if he was a son, if he was a brother, because there’s no way around it, I needed to bring in the field of forces between what is true and what is false in relation to our experience with him, his experience with us, his experience with his family, his experience with Dawn, his experience with the BBC and where he sold out and what he ought to do about it; repent.
So let’s read this, it’s a little plan in the form of an open letter…
The Letter
Jeffrey, I’m so sorry it has come to this – I am. I wrote this because writing about his mother snogging him; that is awful! Why did I write that? Why? Because his lie is that his family is the paragons of virtue and these amazing people that I stole him from and look what I’ve done to all these other people, I’ve stolen them! I’m stealing their children like their children had no choice! Like if that doesn’t determine their attitude towards you, my goodness… you’re a possession.
That there, you’re a slave, we “stole” one of their slaves, we “stole” one of their possessions, a slave to their narcissism, a slave to their pathology, a slave to their psychopathy, a slave to the cult of family. We “stole” their slave! And if I had, I’d been in jail if I stole anybody. I haven’t stolen anybody. It’s called kidnapping; no one’s kidnapped anybody. It’s rubbish, it’s palpably absolute rubbish. And I feel sorry it’s come to this.
This was not what I worked hard with Jeffrey for, it’s not why I invited him into to my family, gave an open door policy, gave him pretty much his own room in my house, anytime he needed it. Not that he ever took it back, ’cos he had to go back to mummy.
Jeffrey, I’m so sorry it has come to this, this is all truly terrible. I’ve tried very hard to avoid having to prove your lies with full material evidence for what they are, lies. Lies that were heinously and callously designed to destroy myself and others here at Lighthouse. Others that you ironically insisted on investing in even when I tried to talk you out of it. Lies to destroy my family, lies that would hurt children within our family. Lies that would make you popular with Dawn Ingram, your love interest. Lies that you were nervous telling on camera. Lies that temporarily flatter you, you thought, when they, the BBC flattered to deceive you, calling you their “star” Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, star of their show. Star of lies and deceit. Star of destruction. Star of Lucifer. Satan. Lucifer meaning Morning Star. Mummy and daddy’s little star. Catrin Nye’s little star. The Wooden Spoon-Award holding little star.
There you are Jeffrey, everyone’s Little Star… disaster… Disa-star.
We have no choice now to reveal the truth, the truth about everyone’s little star. The truth about you, the truth about your true involvement in Lighthouse. The truth about how Dawn manipulated you, screamed at you and controlled you. The truth of your character, the truth about your family in relation to you, myself and Lighthouse. The truth about your life, the truth you will ultimately hate. The truth that Dawn and your family will turn on you and resent you, as they most likely do already. The truth that we have full evidence for. Truth on recordings, truth on transcripts, truth in text messages, truth in emails, truth in multiple win-win performance agreements, truth in God in reality, truth that will hold you ultimately accountable.
Truth. Truth, Jeffrey, truth.
We have held back for so long, too long. You’ve tried to destroy our lives, our business, our health, with anything but the truth.
Now it’s time for the truth. You have let your family down in the most devastating way. You have, dare I say, even let Dawn down, by not being the man in your relationship and now in order to be popular for a little while with her and your family, you’re now going to be the reason for their ultimate shame and downfall, not least your own, at BBC News. Who you gave everything to, but the truth.
I pray to God for your well-being through this. I pray for your salvation for your soul and God help you! I warned you before you left, but you would not listen, so here we are.
Now we have to protect each other here at Lighthouse and our families. Repent Jeffrey because our Christ is your only hope. God’s mercy on your soul.

Man, hearing Paul read his letter to Jeffrey is gutting. It felt like a kick in the solar plexus… the tragedy of how Jeffrey has lied so so much, so badly. I can hear the affection, the pain and the care in Paul’s voice. I can tell he never wanted it to come to this. I know only a glimpse of how much Paul deeply cared for Jeffrey. I do not envy where Jeffrey is right now. I’m praying for him out of deep concern. I pray he does not get sucked into that desperately dark vortex that nearly pulled him totally in years ago. Sheez… this really is horrible, to know how not only Jeffrey fell from such progress he was making. But… the way he’s been spat out by the BBC and everyone involved?! For what? 15 minutes of fame? Feeling like a hero? The BBC clearly do not care one iota about anyone except their own brand, their own perception and raiding people’s bank accounts for their inflated salaries. They are a nasty piece of work. I really hope Jeffrey can turn from this and at the least, be an example to many others of what not to do. God have mercy on this world.
The tragedy of Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, and it certainly is. Paul, in particular, invested so much into helping Jeffrey. The tragic irony is that were it not for Lighthouse, he would probably not even have met Dawn. He was on the way to suicide when he got in touch. The weekly group sessions and personal support helped him to get his feet back on the group, cutting down his drinking and getting a job.
Jeffrey was growing, with a great sense of hope and possibility for the future – genuine and sincere. Then I watch A Very British Cult and I see the complete opposite. He was given multiple opportunities to reduce his involvement at Lighthouse, but he was offended at that because he felt a strong connection in what he was building with us. Paul offered ways for him not to invest and not to be involved, especially when he was taking the strain of pressure from his family and Dawn.
I pray for Jeffrey and his repentance. His only hope is in Christ.
It’s incredibly sad and tragic what has happened with Jeffrey and how he’s been used by the BBC for their own ends and agenda. I really hope and pray that he wakes up to this and does something redemptive before it’s too late. May God bless and have mercy on his soul, and on us all. Amen.
God bless Paul and his deep care and concern even for his enemies and those who have betrayed him. He did all he could to appeal to Jeffrey at the time but Jeffrey was so toxically under the spell of those he felt most dependent on.
What the BBC have done and who they are is actually what angers me most. How they so willingly and unrepentantly prey on vulnerable people, use and abuse them at the person’s expense, all in order to further the aims and objectives of the BBC. In this case the BBC wanted to destroy Paul and Lighthouse and they saw the opportunity in Jeffrey, just like the Sanhedrin did with Judas. (In fact the date the BBC programme came out was on Holy/Spy Wednesday of 2023!) Not to relieve Jeffrey of any of his own responsibility whatsoever though, he absolutely must bear that himself and repent. What he did was heinously treacherous, not just to Paul and Lighthouse, but to himself and his own character. His own soul.
When Judas confessed and returned the 30 pieces of silver to the Sanhedrin, they cared nothing for him. They had gotten what they wanted through him. He was expendable. As everyone is to Satan in the satanic Kingdom of Darkness. So will Jeffrey be to the BBC. They will not stand by him or protect him. Indeed they will complete the sacrifice by throwing him and the other contributors all under the bus. They already have done really. I don’t see any of them standing up for each other, which is no surprise amongst liars and cheats. It’s a tragic example, but by God’s grace many will learn from it in the end and I pray the one who does most is Jeffrey.
Heartbreaking
Thank you for sharing the article, as well as Paul’s open letter to Jeffrey. It’s deeply tragic that Jeffrey chose to attack Lighthouse and collude with the BBC. The BBC pursues its own agenda, showing little regard for others when it serves their interests. They have demonstrated this countless times, and their skill in manipulating narratives is well known. Yet, ultimately, the truth will prevail.
Hearing Paul read the letter to Jeffrey is a powerful reminder of his genuine care and the extent to which he reached out to help. It’s truly sad that Jeffrey allowed the lure of fame and media attention to guide his decisions. I pray that he comes to recognise his missteps and eventually takes steps to make things right.
Poor Jeffery, ultimately he’s a victim of scamtology, as much as he’s perpetrator, where he scammed himself on top of the BBC scamming him into being the poster boy. Though I have compassion for him and be plight, there’s an accountability that must be held by him. God bless him.
Ah…This is such a sad situation and shows how the BBC has no shame in how it conducts itself. It just wants power, power, power and will do anything to maintain and try and expand it, regardless of who it hurts. I remember Jeffrey Leigh-Jones building in confidence and starting to show himself transforming into becoming a leader..and then whoosh..next thing on the BBC lying. It just shows how the BBC were able to manipulate him and play on his vulnerabilities.
Thank you for revealing the painful truth about Jeffrey and what actually happened. Citizens need to know how callous and inhuman the BBC actually are and what they are willing to do to create a story, even when it is evidently and provably false. The BBC is dangerous and cares nothing for the vulnerability of people like Jeffrey., but Jeffrey, whilst scamming himself, allowed himself to be scammed ruthlessly. This whole situation is deeply tragic and is an example of why we really need to understand Scamtology and its devastating consequences.
It really pains me to see what they have done to Jeffrey, and what he has done to himself. He knows he’s not told the truth and that he deeply betrayed those at Lighthouse who cared about him, and still care about him. We will keep praying for him.
Wow, thank you for sharing this article about Jeffrey. What really hits me is the love that Paul had and still has for him as a human being. Jeffrey has been used and manipulated so the BBC can be seen as an Angel of Light, but in doing so, have put a young man’s life at risk.
