Dear Mr President,

First, thank you for your service and leadership, we are desperately grateful. Your re‑election brought real hope to millions of ordinary people who have watched institutional power used to vilify and silence dissent. We at Lighthouse Global have seen this tyranny up close through firsthand, lived experiences, especially over the last 5 years. 

1. Purpose of this Letter

It’s with this in mind that I am writing to you in light of the recent and deeply troubling scandal involving the BBC’s doctored footage in its documentary and news coverage about you. Your public statement resonated profoundly with myself and my team at Lighthouse: 

“You know, the nice part about litigation is we’ll find out how many times they’ve done it to other people. Maybe they did it to me quite a bit.” 

(Quote from your interview with Bev Turner from GB News, released 15th November 2025)

Mr President, you were absolutely right. And I want to tell you unequivocally: yes, they have done it to others, including us. They have done it systematically, repeatedly, and without any sense of accountability. And what they did to Lighthouse and me personally (Paul S. Waugh), is not only similar to what they did to you, but far worse in a fake documentary and comprehensively slanderous podcast, provably and evidentially with full receipts.

I have so much to share with you in line with many a statement you have made publicly about fake news and documentaries, the dark motives of the mainstream media, the abuse of governmental and institutional power, the state of the world and what this all means for billions of everyday citizens across the globe. 

It is with this context and shared experience that I am writing my first open letter to you. This will be the first in a series written to you and published online given the immense levels of public interest associated with the issues surrounding your obligatory challenge of the BBC’s deception and corruption.

2. The BBC Lied About Us Over 140 Times (provably and evidentially)

You have already experienced the BBC manipulating footage and distorting your words. In our case, we have identified more than 140 provable and evidential falsehoods over the course of five hours in the BBC’s 2023 production A Very British Cult, by predatory journalists Catrin Nye and Jamie Bartlett. This does not include the deliberate omissions and deceptive editing tactics by manipulating and falsifying footage, which multiply the number of misleading impressions many times over. 

To put it plainly, if the BBC attacked you with two strikes, they hit Lighthouse with more than seventy times the force. We have hundreds of thousands of pages of evidence and the receipts to substantiate this, and we have been fighting to present the truth for over 3 years despite the BBC’s best efforts to silence us. Such is the extent of the persecution I have endured, due to my Christian and conservative worldview and my work empowering fellow citizens, that I am currently living in effective exile in South Africa. This situation has arisen as a direct result of malicious attacks and collusion between predatory online trolls, weaponised UK government agencies, and the woke, fake-news mainstream media.

We have responded with a multitude of efforts; including making official complaints to the BBC and the British media regulator (Ofcom), posting educational material online (www.davidvsgoliath.global), picketing, distributing pamphlets in the area Catrin Nye lives, as well as peaceful protests outside BBC premises in London and Birmingham.  

As I write this, my Christian brothers at Lighthouse (Kris Deichler, Sukhraj Singh and Jatinder Kamra) are preparing to defend themselves in court this week. This is because, almost as a last resort, they went to the predatory pseudo-journalist Catrin Nye’s house over a year ago with a Bible and a letter to try and peacefully negotiate our ability to reply comprehensively to all false claims made by her. Her reaction? She reports them for stalking (which was lowered to the charge of harassment), despite her actually stalking and harassing us for years, including spying on us outside our homes. 

Catrin Nye’s falsehoods have incited hatred and serious death threats against us which have also resulted in attempted suicides. We have literally had to move our children to keep them safe. Members of the public were so bought into her lies and fake news that they literally felt we were worthy of death threats. 

Only in a totalitarian state like the UK, or countries with dictatorships and third-world countries, would three people who’ve been through all this end up in court as the charged when trying to intervene in defence of themselves and the truth.

 3. The BBC Used the Same Fake News Strategy & Tactic on Lighthouse as They Used on You

Below is a one-minute video clip that demonstrates conclusively how the BBC doctored audio, cut crucial context, and fabricated a false narrative. It is the same method now exposed in your case:

• • • Cutting essential parts of recordings
    • Removing mitigating context
    • Reordering and stitching audio to mislead viewers
    • Presenting a version of events that the BBC knew was false (but suited their propaganda-based narrative)

The BBC knowingly misled millions of citizens about myself, my colleagues, and our work. They created a scandal where literally none existed. They relied on sensationalism over truth. They crafted a narrative and then engineered or falsely formulated evidence to fit a preconceived and predetermined conclusion. The outcome of the investigation was decided before the ‘investigation’ (so-called) was put in place. This is the same pattern now being exposed in their coverage of you

4. Lighthouse Is Provably, With Full Receipts, the Clearest & Most Comprehensive Example of BBC Corruption & Misconduct Ever!

While some have individual grievances with the BBC, the case of Lighthouse is comprehensive in that, we have:

• • • Hundreds of thousands of thousands of pages of transcripts documenting our research over 21 years, completely refuting the malicious falsehoods that the BBC broadcasted.
    • Extensive evidence of recordings the BBC manipulated, spliced, deliberately excluded, or presented with intentionally misleading context. 
    • Documents proving the BBC ignored and rejected evidence (6 months before the so-called documentary was aired), failed to verify claims, and concealed information. All of this documentation completely undermines their woke, left-wing propaganda narrative.
    • Proof that the BBC unlawfully obtained personal data of Lighthouse, which is a crime in the UK.

Our case is not one or two unintentional errors, as they claim with you. It is a systemic pattern of deliberate deceit, executed over many years, across multiple platforms, with institutional collusion and protection at every stage – especially against the very citizens they are force-funded by and who they are supposed to, and indeed ought to, be serving. 

We have called on Catrin Nye, Jamie Bartlett, Ravin Sampat and Natalie Truswell as BBC staff responsible for this atrocity, to resign. These resignations are to follow BBC Director General Tim Davie and CEO of BBC News Deborah Turness who resigned for exactly the same reason. Given Mr Davie and Ms Turness needed to resign for what they’ve done, then Ms Nye, Mr Bartlett, Mr Sampat and Ms Truswell have to resign as well. Many letters have been written to Tim Davie and BBC staff. We have had zero response, but we know they fear their deceptive atrocities being revealed. 

With everything we’ve ever done to hold the BBC accountable over the last 3 years, which is numerous, with many claims publicly, they have never sent us a letter back, not even a lawyer’s letter or any letter threatening us because they know we’re right in what we are saying. The BBC is just hoping we’ll give up and go away, and they have no chance of that.

And, as in your case, the BBC refuse to truly acknowledge their wrongdoing. Instead, they believe that resigning, hiding behind process, making pseudo-apologetic statements and stonewalling legitimate complaints will somehow exempt them from accountability. It will not with your help and by the grace of God.

5. This Is The First in a Series of Open Letters to You Sir

Since we made the first public declaration that I would write to you back in June this year, there is so much that has happened. In fact, this first open letter has now conservatively been revised and completely rewritten at least 15-20 times. The original open letter was actually going to be over 100 pages long. We have significantly shortened this and have decided to do a series.

Therefore, given all the recent and ongoing developments, I have decided it would be best to start with this first letter and then to update you with further open letters on a weekly basis through your presidency because there is so much to share… far too much for just one letter. I also thought that a shortened circular would enable us to get this out, to get citizens involved and then for us to pass on the series of shorter letters to complete the whole.    

Citizen Intervention will be not only the voice, but the body of global citizens, united, defiant against tyranny.. United in truth and justice. These letters will not be primarily about me, Paul S. Waugh and Lighthouse Global. I am speaking for the voiceless and powerless citizens. Through these letters we will be urging you to lead what we believe the world now urgently needs… 

A Citizen Intervention Body initiating, amongst other crucial initiatives, A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against the BBC on behalf of:

• • • Every individual defamed,
    • Every family devastated,
    • Every victim of BBC paedophiles and cover-ups,
    • Every person whose reputation was destroyed by deceptive journalism, and
    • Every forced TV licence fee payer compelled to subsidise this abusive institution and pay to be lied to.

NB: In light of the deeply serious misconduct already uncovered regarding the BBC, we ask you to consider the following. Given the scale of wrongdoing now emerging, we urge you to pursue damages well in excess of the 1 to 5 billion dollars currently being discussed. And when you win, which you undoubtedly will, we respectfully propose that a portion of those damages be allocated to establishing a BBC Justice and Compensation Fund.

This fund would form part of a wider citizen-led intervention to provide redress for all individuals who have been harmed by the BBC, whether through its long-documented failures involving the protection of children, or through malicious defamation, fabricated narratives, the deliberate destruction of reputations, as well as those prosecuted by the BBC for failure to pay licence fees, particularly the elderly.

6. A Taste of What’s to Come

As I said at the start of this letter, there is so much that I and we at Lighthouse want to share with you. For additional context and comparison, I have been attacked and called a cult leader like you have been, as they have done with anyone who brings together groups of conservatives. For the last 21 years as a group of conservative Christians we have conducted extraordinary research to find out why people’s potential is so far from being realised. We are working to empower some of the most unlikely people to succeed; the ordinary man on the street, the citizens, and the average conservative Christian. We’re looking to liberate such people and this is a real problem for those who want to negatively suppress and control conservative Christians in the UK and beyond.

7. Problems We Endeavour to Confront & Solve

Sir, below are the problems that we have as a small community-based fraternity and emergent global business (Lighthouse), along with our fellow UK national and global citizens. These are the chronic and acute problems we need to solve and we desperately need your help with! We will be providing further detail on this in subsequent correspondence.

Primary Chronic Problems (PCP)

1: Citizens have no real power against weaponised institutions.

2: No powerful, independent citizen intervention body exists – no one to contact when you desperately need help.

3: Citizens are isolated and disunified, lacking connective infrastructure and organisation.

Secondary Acute Problems (SAP)

Secondary Acute Problems For Citizens

1: Governments are too big, incompetent, and costly.

2: Lack of ongoing citizen-based decision making.

3: Citizens are over‑institutionalised and dependent; we need increased personal control.

Secondary Acute Problems For Lighthouse

1: Lighthouse is on the right side of truth and has full evidence against those trying to destroy us, but we lack reach.

2: As they tried with us, the BBC crushes everyday citizens who challenge their radical left, wokeist, anti-truth agenda. 

3: The sustained and coordinated attacks on us have ravaged our human, material and financial resources. 

4: I and we have been completely cancelled from every mainstream media outlet, including X. No-one has dared to speak to me live. They know it will be the end, with full evidence of their deceit.

Solutions

1: Establish Citizen Intervention Global/UK with the Anti‑Defamation Alliance and a Private Prosecution Service to protect citizens and hold institutions accountable.

2: Develop Citizen Intervention Journalists and educate the public to discern truth from propaganda, building an accurately and broadly informed citizenry.

3: Launch a UK citizen‑driven class action against the BBC and create a BBC Justice and Compensation Fund, including public apology, damages, and ending the licence fee.

4: Position Lighthouse as a visible “David vs Goliath” case to inspire and mobilise citizens facing institutional tyranny.

5: Seek direct presidential intervention to catalyse the first Citizen Intervention through Lighthouse Global and scale globally.

Future correspondence will include:

• • • The significant problems behind why most people fail to realise their God-given human potential and what needs to happen in order to address this trend of degeneracy.
    • The story of how we at Lighthouse found ourselves being attacked relentlessly through online anonymous predatory trolling, hit-piece hearsay newspaper articles, TV broadcasts and podcasts, the weaponisation of government agencies, and how we want to help others through your and our experience.
    • Why the BBC, the UK Insolvency Service, UK MPs and the UK Judiciary System have now likely invested millions of taxpayer pounds in their efforts to try to destroy us at Lighthouse over the course of years (without success, most definitely by God’s grace).
    • The way that predatory journalists will use truth, half-truths, lies and deception to completely destroy political opponents, and even vulnerable citizens with no form of recourse.
    • How much more Christians need to be united to stand against religious persecution in its many subtle, overt and destructive forms across the globe.
    • The lack of a platform to enable genuinely repentant people to atone for any wrongdoing, make things right and use their experience to serve others. 

This list is far from exhaustive. As said, there’s a lot more that is mindblowing in nature, and will be backed up with full receipts!

8. In Closing

You have said you want to know “how many times they have done it to other people.” Mr President, we are prepared to show you, clearly, conclusively, and undeniably.

We believe a coalition through Citizen Intervention Global led by you, supported by Lighthouse and other victims, would not only expose the depth of BBC corruption but would permanently reform the media landscape worldwide. There are at least hundreds of cases like this over the last few years alone, but the ravaged citizens are too scared to come forward, victims both internal and external to the BBC. We want this to be a significant part of your already expansive legacy. 

We stand ready to provide you and your wonderful team with evidence, recordings, transcripts, documented falsehoods, and exclusive access to our case and our records. 

President Trump, we are watching how you vindicate yourself with awe. We pray for a fraction of that vindication in our case so we’ll be free to live our lives again and for the millions who don’t have the platform, the reach, the resources or the power to fight back and stand for the truth! The British mainstream media have been trying to destroy us for the last 4-5 years.

The BBC has acted with impunity, and seeming immunity, for too long. The time for accountability has come and we believe you are the person who is leading that charge. This is the reason why we were very emotional at Lighthouse when you came in for your second term.

It is with this sentiment that I make a plea to you. My plea is that this first open letter needs to reach every citizen in the world, along with the rest of the series, by registering on citizenintervention.org. Mr President, we will provide you with all the statistics and information that will be forthcoming through ongoing reports and ongoing open letters. 

We also make the plea that every single human being who gets the opportunity to read this open letter will also pass this on to every single person, especially conservative Christians, along with those who are conservative and genuinely seeking truth, whether Christian or not. 

I leave this first open letter along with a prayer and my salutations Sir. I pray for your presidency, your family and the people of the beautiful USA and the free world (soon to be more free thanks to you and God and us who support you totally and utterly) as I have done ever since your very first announcement in line with your intentions for the presidency of the United States Of America. I personally believe that God has preserved you through these unrelenting attempts on your life and murderous attempts to character-assassinate you. We send this with our faith, love and prayers in Christ.
