Article 1.2: Lighthouse Global Case – Years of BBC Distortion & DECEPTION Hidden in Plain Sight – Key Takeaways

• The BBC is running a multi‑year campaign against Lighthouse Global using provably slanderous falsehoods, manipulative editing, selective omission, and ideologically driven commentators.

• The same tactics later exposed in the BBC’s attempted character assassination of President Trump have also been used against Lighthouse, which had extremely limited ability and resources to defend itself and respond… possible only in Christ.

• Central to the attack was the BBC production A Very British Cult, built on stolen private recordings and a narrow set of hostile sources, while extensive positive evidence and testimonies were ignored.

“Cult” allegations against Lighthouse and Paul S. Waugh were presented without the extraordinary evidence such claims require, and without granting a full, fair and comprehensive right of reply to all provably false claims made.

• The 5-year constructive sabotage hate and smear campaign that the BBC champions started when Lighthouse Associates started to speak more openly about their emerging Christian faith.

• The BBC’s chosen expert, Alexandra Stein, refused to examine primary evidence or speak with long‑standing Associates, while benefiting from the profile the BBC gave her as a “cult expert.”

• Material that demonstrates the value of Lighthouse’s research and work included over 75 client testimonies of positive impact and long‑term growth. This evidence was excluded, creating a one‑sided, definitive‑sounding narrative.

• The consequences for Lighthouse and its people (families and children) included reputational destruction, harassment, multiple death threats, blacklisting (personal & professional), as well as serious psychological harm.

• The Lighthouse Global case shows a repeatable institutional process of propaganda: selective editing, provable falsehoods, omission of exculpatory evidence, use of stolen and manipulated material, as well as evasive, narrow defences when challenged.

• This pattern points beyond one broadcaster to a wider establishment system that weaponises narratives to suppress independent thought, Christian conviction, and citizen empowerment.

• Lighthouse Global’s work—helping everyday people realise their God‑given human potential in Christ, think critically and empower them to build all forms of value for righteous reasons—directly challenges this system, which is why it was targeted by the Establishment.

1. Why the Lighthouse Global Case Matters

This article examines the BBC’s multi‑year campaign against Lighthouse Global, a secular human growth and research organisation founded by Paul S. Waugh in 2004.

The central claim is that:

  • The BBC used provably slanderous falsehoods, manipulative editing, selective omission, and ideologically motivated commentators to construct a false narrative.
  • The same techniques seen in the BBC’s attempted character assassination of President Donald Trump were already being used against Lighthouse Global.
  • Lighthouse, unlike President Trump, had no comparable platform or institutional power to defend itself, making it a testing ground for these tactics on everyday citizens seen as “Groups of Concern”.

What happened to Lighthouse Global was not a mistake or an isolated editorial failure. It was the deployment of honed propaganda methods that destroyed reputations and significantly damaged livelihoods.

2. The Case the World Didn’t See

In November 2025, the BBC was forced to apologise for what it described as “an error of judgment” relating to manipulating footage of President Trump’s January 6th 2021 speech. The apology was disingenuous and ironically filled with falsehoods in the attempt to maintain its image as an impartial public service broadcaster acting in the public interest. That scandal briefly revealed to the world how the BBC’s “machinery of institutional deception” operates.

The Lighthouse Global case shows that:

  • These methods were also being developed, refined and operational inside the UK.
  • The BBC is prepared to target those without power and influence, applying the same dark tactics to private organisations that challenge establishment narratives.

Lighthouse Global’s work directly confronts this Establishment system by:

  • Teaching people to think critically and independently.
  • Encouraging moral autonomy, personal responsibility, and spiritual grounding in Christ.
  • Challenging establishment‑approved frameworks in government, education and mainstream media.

In this context, Lighthouse was not targeted because of evidence‑based harm, but because its work exposes how human potential is systematically suppressed by institutional systems.

3. About Lighthouse Global

Originally founded as FranklinWaugh on 4 November 2004 by Paul S. Waugh in London, Lighthouse Global:

  • Helps people understand and realise their God‑given human potential.
  • Draws on over 21 years of organisational research (and Paul Waugh’s 40+ years of extensive professional experience) into why so much human intelligence and potential remain unrealised.
  • Focuses on:
    • Personal vision, character and competence.
    • Principle‑centred, cause‑and‑effect living.
    • Christ‑centred transformation, one person at a time.

“We started Lighthouse Global to research and discover why so much human intelligence and potential is largely so unrealised in so many people. What we have discovered in short is remarkable, as it is revealing.” – Paul S. Waugh

The Mission

To never have to say no where we ought to say yes inside and outside our own souls, inside and outside our own doors.

Key features of Lighthouse Global’s work:

  • Empowering ordinary citizens and “the average conservative Christian” to become problem solvers and value builders.
  • A core team, from all world views, theistic, agnostic and atheistic, but are now dedicated Christians running a secular growth and research organisation, made possible “only and undeniably by God’s love and grace.”
  • A direct challenge to systems that:
    • Promote fear, dependency and conformity.
    • Resist citizens who think and act from truth and moral responsibility.

BBC journalist Catrin Nye dismissed Lighthouse’s work as “boring” – a stark contrast to the depth and seriousness with which Lighthouse views its calling.

More can be found about the community involved with the work at Lighthouse Global at www.lighthousecommunity.global.

4. The Anti-Christian Origin of the Attacks on Lighthouse

Since its founding in 2004, Lighthouse has embarked on a number of self-funded secular research projects and initiatives into human potential that have touched the lives of over 70,000 people, such as:

  • Creating an Entrepreneurial Business Exchange Network (EBEN) involving more than 3,000 businesses.
  • Establishing a Resource Acquisition & Management Programme (RAMP) to assist business owners.
  • Developing of a Pre-Startup programme with accompanying mastermind support groups through Eclub.
  • Launching a Strategic Networking Programme to help those looking to avoid making the mistakes of the 95% of businesses that fail within 5 years.
  • Conducting over 5,000 street interviews and surveys assessing the public’s views on life lessons (the Benefit of Hindsight campaign), mentorship and goalsetting. Respondents included senior business executives and two current MPs.
  • Delivering complimentary workshops for hundreds of people through a Mentor The Mentor Programme aimed at those aspiring to mentor youth in need.
  • Hosting of Sports networking events like Sports4Water and the Legends Golf Network.
  • Publishing the Legends Report, educating readers on the principles of effectiveness through examples of some of the most successful people.
  • Pioneering a Discipline Programme to develop someone’s character in order to follow through towards meaningful goals.

During this time (over 16 years) working in the areas of personal development and new age/spirituality, Lighthouse experienced:

  • no legal complaints,
  • no predatory trolling online,
  • no negative media coverage.

Then it was in February 2021 this all changed:

  • Paul S Waugh had a conversation with Lighthouse Senior Directors about the value of the wisdom contained in Jesus Christ’s Sermon on the Mount
  • An audio of this secular discussion on the Beatitudes was shared, on a voluntary opt-in basis, with any Lighthouse Associate interested in learning more.
  • A close connection/family member of the BBC source ‘Erin’ made the first anonymous anti-Lighthouse post on Reddit within days of this discussion.

This was the nexus of what has now been a 5-year constructive sabotage hate and smear campaign against Lighthouse… one that has now cost the British taxpayer millions of pounds. Since this first anonymous anti-Lighthouse post, Lighthouse Global Associates have endured:

  • Thousands of predominantly anonymous, defamatory, threatening and abusive social media posts on Reddit, Twitter/X and Facebook.
  • Sensationalised hit-piece articles by the Daily Mail as well as enquiries by The Mirror looking to write a similar piece.
  • Weaponisation of government agencies, most notably the Insolvency Service.
  • Loss of clients and opportunities because of reputation-based attacks.
  • At least two suicide attempts by Lighthouse Associates because of the intensity of these attacks, with others needing to leave out of self-preservation.
  • The broadcast to millions of the BBC hit-piece TV show and podcast A Very British Cult. This included segments on national BBC News broadcasts.
  • Being stalked, filmed and harassed in public.
  • Multiple death threats that resulted from the BBC broadcast.

The timing as well as the demonic character of these attacks show that these attacks are spiritual in their origins. Why else would the Establishment invest millions to destroy a small pre-startup research organisation that aimed to empower everyday citizens?

Many Lighthouse Associates had started investigating Christianity for a number of years before these attacks, but it was when they started to be public with their growing Christian faith that the attacks started!

5. The BBC’s Attack: “A Very British Cult”

In April 2023, the BBC broadcast A Very British Cult (TV show and podcast). The production:

  • Relied heavily on false testimonies by a handful of bitter ex-clients who
    • Found their efforts to grow through Lighthouse being sabotaged by coercively controlling partners and family members
    • Demanded undue refunds.
    • Refused multiple invitations to sit down and negotiate fair resolutions.
  • Included stolen intellectual capital and personal data:
    • Over 16,000 pages of transcripts.
    • Thousands of hours of private recordings from Lighthouse Global, taken by Dawn Ingram and unlawfully obtained by the BBC’s Catrin Nye.
    • Consisting of:
      • Confidential research
      • Individual and group counselling sessions that included sensitive content expressing incidents of trauma and abuse.

Despite ongoing police and ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) investigations and repeated legal objections, the BBC:

  • Used the manipulation of these recordings and transcriptions as the backbone of its production.
  • Edited and doctored material to defame Lighthouse and Paul S. Waugh.
  • Celebrated the stolen recordings as an “absolute goldmine,” with no visible concern for their moral, ethical or legal implications.

The reality of recordings and transcripts stolen from Lighthouse

Whilst Catrin Nye reacted to the stolen transcripts as a goldmine, she and her colleague (Osman Iqbal) were soon disappointed. They had received extensive evidence proving that Lighthouse’s credentials as a pre-startup research organisation pioneering incredible work in the field of human potential.

What this meant is that the BBC would have to manipulate and twist the valuable material they had been given into something that was dark and sinister through superficial keyword searches, but no thorough analysis.

This was not a goldmine to Catrin Nye and the BBC. This stolen intellectual capital is a goldmine to Lighthouse containing a wealth of examples, case studies and realisations. These breakthroughs were in line with understanding not only why the everyday person fails to realise their God-given potential, but what to do about it.

Disappointingly for Catrin Nye and her team, there was nothing damning and nothing illegal in the stolen material about Lighthouse. The stolen data categorically proves Lighthouse is not a cult, but Catrin Nye was so far into her hit-piece production that she had to manipulate and twist what they had to suit the predetermined outcome of her pseudo investigation.

Had there been an honest and rigorous scrutiny of the transcriptions, the BBC would have either created a documentary singing the praises of Lighthouse’s work, or decided to cut their losses and not produce anything. What resulted instead was another fruit of the BBC-Trump Syndrome where something positive about an ideological and political enemy is manipulated, twisted and spliced into hit-piece material with the intention to smear and destroy.

At the same time, the BBC refused to:

  • Consider the vast body of positive evidence about Lighthouse’s impact.
  • Engage with extensive testimonials of personal transformation, recovery from abuse, and spiritual growth.
  • Review publicly available stories and documentation on the Lighthouse Global websites.

This is characterised as deception by omission: constructing a narrative of harm by systematically excluding evidence of healing, benefit and growth.

6. The Scale of the BBC’s Campaign

The Lighthouse Global case reveals a campaign by the BBC that is far more extensive than the scandal in which it manipulated Donald Trump’s speech on 6th January 2021.

Scale and Reach of BBC’s Hate & Smear Campaign Against Lighthouse

  • Multiple years of targeting.
  • Around five hours of dedicated broadcast content about Lighthouse.
  • Multiple platforms:
    • BBC Three TV programme.
    • Radio 4 weekly series.
    • BBC Sounds podcast available on all major podcast providers.
    • Promotional launch on national BBC News and live radio to millions across the UK.
    • Articles on BBC News website, including specific translation into Portuguese for BBC News Brazil
    • Adapted into compressed versions broadcasted on the BBC World Service.
    • Promoted on BBC Social Media accounts as well as by BBC staff.
  • At least 140 provable falsehoods in one programme alone, documented and submitted to Ofcom.

Despite extraordinary public accusations:

  • There have been no arrests.
  • No police questioning of Lighthouse Global or Paul S. Waugh in relation to these allegations presented in A Very British Cult.
  • Paul S. Waugh has published a public statement titled Response To Accusations: Standing Firm In Truth addressing the provably false claims made about him in the mainstream media.

Meanwhile, the irony is that the news anchor promoting A Very British Cult on the BBC News at Ten was none other than the disgraced Huw Edwards.

Human Consequences

The BBC’s coverage led to:

  • Reputational destruction for Lighthouse Global and Associates.
  • Harassment, death threats, personal and professional blacklisting against individual Lighthouse Associates.
  • Deep psychological trauma for those targeted and their families.
  • Relationships destroyed because of the onslaught of provable lies and character assasination.
  • Severe damage to Lighthouse’s ability to continue its mission of empowering people to realise their God‑given potential.

Lighthouse states that this is not journalism, but institutional violence. Catrin Nye and her team at the BBC “have blood on their hands.”

7. The “Cult” Narrative Without Evidence

The BBC’s storyline centred on one explosive claim: Lighthouse is a cult, with Paul S. Waugh portrayed as a coercively controlling, manipulative cult leader.

In a functioning democracy, such extraordinary allegations require extraordinary evidence. Instead, the BBC:

  • Relied on:
    • A handful of disgruntled former clients, presented without serious challenge or corroboration.
    • Anonymous sources, whose credibility the public could not properly assess.
    • An “expert witness,” Alexandra Stein, whose ideological commitments and lack of direct knowledge of Lighthouse were not disclosed.
  • Refused to grant Lighthouse and Paul Waugh a full, fair and comprehensive right to reply, with evidence and context, to all allegations made.
  • Ignored multiple public and direct appeals, including to Ofcom CEO Dame Melanie Dawes and a live, real-time, unedited David vs Goliath Showdown, asking for evidence to be presented and the opportunity to respond to slanderous claims.

Lighthouse maintains that what the BBC produced was not journalism, but a sensationalised and fictional hit piece.

8. The Role of Alexandra Stein

The BBC presented Alexandra Stein as a neutral cult expert. However, Lighthouse Global describes her as:

  • Ideologically driven:
    • Aggressively anti‑Christian and anti‑conservative.
    • Aligned with woke, leftist and socialist views.
  • Publicly inclined to brand leaders such as Paul Waugh and Donald Trump as cult figures and political dangers.
  • Professionally benefiting from:
    • Paid media appearances.
    • National and international profile as a “cult expert” to millions through the BBC.

Despite her prominent role, Ms Stein:

  • Made no effort to:
    • Engage directly with Lighthouse Global or its leadership.
    • Speak with long‑standing associates and satisfied clients.
    • Review primary evidence and internal records.
  • Declined repeated invitations over several years to:
    • Meet or speak with Paul S. Waugh.
    • Review evidence and testimonies.
    • Thoroughly and objectively investigate Lighthouse, its aims, research and practices. Even though her costs to do so were offered to be covered.
    • Participate in a recorded public discussion comparing dangerous cults with healthy, reforming communities.

Lighthouse:

  • Publicly invited PhDs and cult specialists to forensically assess their organisation.
  • Argued that no dangerous cult would proactively welcome this level of scrutiny.
  • Issued an open letter to Alexandra Stein, signed by Lighthouse Director Chris Nash, challenging Ms Stein or any critic to point out anything genuinely “cult‑like” so it could be addressed and reformed.

Lighthouse contends that Ms Stein’s refusal to investigate contrary evidence or meet current members:

  • Shows a lack of genuine concern for those she claims to protect.
  • Mirrors the very traits she warns against:
    • Dogmatism.
    • Secrecy.
    • Using vulnerable people to serve her ideological and career goals, rather than truth and genuine safeguarding.

Alexandra Stein’s role in the Lighthouse case parallels her involvement in framing Donald Trump as a “cult leader,” a topic explored further in Article 2.3 of this series.

9. Selective Editing & the Exclusion of Evidence

The BBC’s coverage of Lighthouse Global displayed a pattern that closely matched its misconduct in the President Trump case:

Techniques Used

  • Heavy reliance on former clients alleging:
    • Psychological manipulation.
    • Financial exploitation.
    • Abuse and control.
  • No challenge to these allegations or meaningful evidence to support them.
  • Absence of:
    • Balanced interviews with current Lighthouse Associates and clients.
    • Extensive positive outcomes and long‑term growth.
    • Serious engagement with financial records, governance structures or internal procedures.

Lighthouse maintains that:

Yet, much of this material never appeared in the broadcast. Instead, the BBC:

  • Built its account on a small, highly subjective set of sources and source material.
  • Failed to disclose the existence of extensive contrary evidence.

Former BBC insiders have alleged that editorial decisions are often shaped around a pre‑set conclusion, with investigations serving primarily to validate that narrative. Whether or not that is provable in this case, the outcome was:

  • A single, definitive‑sounding version of events.
  • Systematic narrowing of the evidential window through which Lighthouse was presented.
  • A completely smeared public reputation for Lighthouse, its work and its people.

10. The BBC’s Defence & Institutional Pattern

When challenged, the BBC responded with narrow, technical defences, similar to its later approach in the attempted character assassination of Donald Trump. It:

  • Claimed to have acted in the public interest.
  • Pointed to:
    • The testimony of a few bitter and vengeful ex‑clients along with their coercively controlling friends and family members.
    • Alexandra Stein’s academic credentials.
  • Avoided addressing:
    • The broader pattern of corruption, bias and omission.
    • The scale of harm inflicted on Lighthouse and those involved.

True public‑interest journalism should be:

  • Balanced.
  • Accurate.
  • Evidence‑based.
  • Accountable.

In the Lighthouse Global case and the associated production A Very British Cult, the BBC was not investigating. Instead it was prosecuting in the court of public opinion, without trial and without a full and comprehensive right of reply to all provably false claims made.

11. The David vs Goliath Showdown the BBC Refused

If the BBC and its sources truly believed their accusations, the most basic test of integrity would have been to face the evidence in public.

In 2024, Lighthouse Global publicly challenged the BBC team behind A Very British Cult—including Catrin Nye—and all their key sources to a live David vs Goliath Showdown. The terms were simple:

  • A real‑time, unedited event.
  • Side‑by‑side comparison of claims and documented evidence.
  • Equal opportunity for the BBC and its sources to justify their allegations before the public.

Despite months of build‑up and open invitations to everyone involved—including then BBC Director-General Tim Davie, BBC leadership and named accusers—not one of them appeared.

This refusal is not a footnote. It exposes the core issue in the Lighthouse case: the BBC and its sources were willing to destroy reputations behind the safety of an edited, institution‑backed production, but unwilling to stand in the light of a transparent David vs Goliath trial of facts (Matthew 12:36–37), where every careless word could be tested against the evidence.

Full information on the David vs Goliath Showdown and associated initiatives can be found at www.davidvsgoliath.global.

12. Parallels with the Donald Trump Case

The similarities between the BBC’s treatment of President Trump and Lighthouse Global are presented as structural, not accidental. In both cases, the BBC:

  • Selectively edited footage and interviews, removing exculpatory content.
  • Used ideologically committed “experts” without disclosing their biases.
  • Amplified uncorroborated allegations from resentful individuals with grievances.
  • Excluded or sidelined evidence that contradicted the preferred narrative.
  • Responded to exposure with limited apologies and institutional obfuscation.

Differences in scale and visibility exist, but:

  • The methods are identical.
  • The intent to destroy reputations and manipulate public perception is described as unmistakable.

13. Why the Lighthouse Global Case Matters Now

The BBC’s attempted character assassination of President Trump has forced the corporation into the global spotlight. The Lighthouse Global case shows that:

  • This behaviour is not new, nor is it an aberration.
  • These methods have been applied for years against less powerful targets with extremely limited ability and resources to fight back… possible only in Christ.

Lighthouse Global:

  • Raised complaints and provided evidence.
  • Demanded accountability and transparency.
  • Was ignored, dismissed and censored.

Now, with the scandal of the BBC’s manipulation of Donald Trump’s speech on January 6th 2021 widely known, the world can better see what Lighthouse victims have long experienced: the BBC is not a neutral observer, but an active participant in the destruction of those it chooses to target.

14. The Deeper Establishment Pathology

The BBC’s attack on Lighthouse Global is presented as part of a larger establishment pathology:

  • Institutions entrusted to inform the public instead weaponise narratives.
  • Truth is subordinated to citizen control and conformity.
  • Those who encourage independent thought, moral responsibility and spiritual grounding become targets of the Establishment.

Lighthouse Global’s work represents:

  • The restoration of human dignity and potential.
  • The empowerment of citizens who subsequently are:
    • Harder to manipulate.
    • More resistant to propaganda and fear tactics.
    • Committed to living out their God‑given purpose.

The parallels between:

  • The BBC’s manipulation of Donald Trump’s speech, and
  • The defamation of Lighthouse Global

reveal a repeatable institutional propaganda process:

  • Selective editing.
  • Omission of exculpatory evidence.
  • Use of stolen or manipulated source material.
  • Refusal to engage with contrary testimony.

In conclusion, the BBC is not operating as a truly impartial public broadcaster. Instead the BBC is a public character assassin for their ideological enemies as well as for those who are of concern to the Establishment’s aims to excessively control and suppress citizens.

15. Next in the Series

Article 1.3 will:

  • Provide a forensic, side‑by‑side comparison of the editorial techniques used against Donald Trump and against Lighthouse Global.
  • Show, with specific examples, how the BBC’s propaganda machine operates.

Demonstrate why these methods constitute a systematic abuse of institutional power.

This is a powerful and comprehensive roundup of what has happened between the BBC and Lighthouse Global. It carefully details each specific incident and its consequences, not least for Paul and for everyone who remains part of Lighthouse. We pray for genuine reform within the BBC through the Class Action, and that those involved in this ongoing smear campaign would finally repent, come to a clear understanding of their actions, and cease what they are doing in light of the truth. Thank you for putting this together.

The tactic of the BBC against us, Lighthouse, was very much about them seeing a small group and believing they could get away with it. To be fair, they almost got away with it with Trump, and it was only because of a whistleblower that they were found out. Their callous actions have caused so much harm, and these people do not care, only if they are caught. I see it as suppression of those who follow truth. We all have to see that, or we will be at the arse end of things. God bless this work.

This is utterly damning. The depth of distortion and deception documented here isn’t just sloppy reporting or journalists who made mistakes, it’s a systematic pattern of narrative control and concealment. Seeing it laid out so clearly shows how deeply the BBC worked to shape a story that served itself, not the truth. When institutions meant to inform act like this, it erodes trust in the most fundamental way. Thank you for exposing what’s been hidden in plain sight. This matters for everyone, not just those directly affected. God bless.

Thank you for the extensive work put into this article…it really helps me appreciate how much our Lord has sustained us through these coordinated attacks by multiple institutions including the BBC.

The sustained, deliberate misrepresentation by the BBC of Lighthouse and many others, has revealed that the first of their public purposes: “To provide impartial news and information to help people understand and engage with the world around them,” is a complete farce. They have no idea what impartiality actually means and as they are agenda-driven, mouthpiece for the establishment, it’s blatantly and evidently clear that impartiality is not their aim.
As long as they are writing about someone else, they hope it will steer our eyes away from their horrific history and current instances of abuse, cover-ups and scandals.

This was no ordinary hit piece on Lighthouse. This was an all-out assault, coordinated, structured, manufactured to obliterate Lighthouse. Like dropping a nuclear bomb on a single building to take it out. The sheer overwhelming amount of time, money, effort, resources… the pseudo expert found in Alexandra Stein. It is akin to how governments and Mainstream media propped up pseudo scientists to tell the world that the Covid measures were scientifically backed and that any other method contrary to WHO guidelines was absurd. Ms Stein could have easily investigated us. I’ve seen her on X.com viciously mock a baptism of a well known Christian, frankly abhorrent. I’ve lived through this experience and this article is helping me appreciate the extent of the attack and also the underlying reasons for it, in terms of how Lighthouse’s work exposes the indoctrination and propaganda fed by the Establishment. Thank you for this excellent piece.

The BBC has such a history of omitting facts and truth when they have an ideological narrative that they need to fulfil. The more I research of the BBC, the more I see the reality that it is a propaganda machine. This is backed up not only by ex-BBC journalists such a Robin Aitken but those in other professions such as economics. Yet the BBC say it is impartial and has built its credibility and reputation on that. That’s what makes it so evil.

On the face of it, this is an extensive, comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the case of Lighthouse Global, yet in many ways it only really scratches the surface.

It is damning that Catrin Nye and the BBC chose to broadcast such a hit piece based on a wealth of wisdom and insights that they unlawfully obtained through Dawn Ingram. Not only is there an inhumane violation of privacy, but theft of intellectual capital. These insights were completely wasted on Catrin Nye and her team. To have gone through all that content and produce what they did is a damning confirmation of the predetermined outcome this corrupt investigation was based on.

It’s predatory journalism to decide upfront how an individual or a group is presented to millions of people, especially given the BBC’s reach.

By God’s grace we have survived these attacks and responding in a way that the BBC never expected by educating citizens on the modus operandi of the mainstream media.

The facts of this matter in themselves, even without the exculpatory evidence that Lighthouse has, are damning to the BBC. For example, why is it that the entire BBC has been, not only totally unwilling, but steadfastly resistant to giving Lighthouse any kind of balanced impartial platform to compare and contrast accounts and evidence in relation to the claims made against them? Surely, if the BBC’s so-called investigation that they continually boast took 18 months, is so robust, they would have such a solid case that they would revel the chance to further prove themselves and embarrass Lighthouse. However, it is the BBC and their team who embarrass themselves by avoiding this at all costs. The reason for this is that when a person or group has lied and lied extensively, they need to minimise all potential exposure to objective scrutiny as they can. The fact that the supposed “experts” they roped in to play along with their narrative have also ignored and resisted invitations to objectively and forensically conduct their discovery and research into Lighthouse first hand, all expenses paid if necessary, only emphasises this.

One then only has to look into their ideological bias that is extremely anti the work and beliefs of the people at Lighthouse and we can understand their motives further. Another big question is why has the BBC dedicated so many resources to this program against a group of people (Lighthouse) that is so small and was hitherto totally unknown. We are talking a 1 hour tv programme (that has been aired since at least 17 times), 4 hours of podcast series and countless TV and radio spots and promotions, including being mentioned on every single News broadcast on its day of release, from breakfast news to the 10pm news. For contrast, a panorama programme made about Revolut bank, which has a customer base of over 10 million people in the UK, was just 30 minutes long, yet Lighthouse’s scale and number of people involved is minuscule in comparison. If there is a not a concerted effort, time, money, people and resources to destroy Lighthouse’s reputation and work than how else does the BBC justify such expenditure of public funds?

The questions that are far too awkward and difficult for the BBC to face and answer are extensive and they are only going to increase and become more and more damning for them. What has happened with President Trump is now a high enough profile example to show that this is very much a culture practice within the BBC against those it sees as ideological opponents and enemies. It is endemic within their walls and so it’s only going to keep coming out because of that. It’s only a matter of time before they fall.

If the BBC’s actions did not affect the lives of so many innocent people, its behaviour might almost appear comical. Instead, it is tragic. Time and again, the organisation has been entangled in serious abuse and wrongdoing carried out by its own employees by figures such as Jimmy Savile and Huw Edwards, individuals who projected an image of integrity while committing serious crimes.

At the same time, the BBC repeatedly attempts to distort reality and discredit those who challenge its misconduct, including Lighthouse Global. This pattern reveals an institution more concerned with protecting itself than with truth or accountability. But the BBC cannot hide forever. Truth has a way of surfacing, no matter how carefully it is suppressed.

It is also striking that the attacks on Lighthouse intensified after we brought in Christ and became Christians, following deep and honest research into truth and reality. That shift exposed not only institutional corruption, but the spiritual dimension behind it.

The BBC and the wider establishment will be held accountable for their wrongdoing. Truth will prevail.

What is being laid out in this article is profound. Bringing to the surface the depth to which the BBC will go to get a story. The lies they tell and the malicious way they go about it. What they did to President Trump was bad enough, but what they did to Paul Waugh, wow.

What gets me is how they glorify what they have done. Using stolen sensitive and confidential transcripts for instance, and openly calling them a gold mine.

There is so much more to be revealed, and I look forward to the next article.

Thank you to all involved in bringing this article together
