Marianna Spring’s CV Deception Exposes the BBC’s Hypocrisy

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” — 1 John 1:8

Marianna Spring is presented as the BBC’s first disinformation specialist and social media correspondent. As the prominent face of BBC Verify, she has positioned herself as someone qualified to tell the British public what is true, what is false and which sources can supposedly be trusted.

Yet behind this carefully maintained, whiter-than-white façade of journalistic integrity lies an extraordinary contradiction. The person presented as an authority on disinformation was caught spreading personal disinformation of her own to advance her career—by lying on her CV.

This is not a minor inconsistency. It exposes the hypocrisy at the heart of a BBC operation that claims the authority to scrutinise everyone else while refusing to apply the same standards of truth, honesty and accountability to its own representatives.

We have asked Marianna Spring to answer several serious questions, including those surrounding her CV deception, the BBC’s splicing of Donald Trump’s speech and the extreme disinformation it has pumped into the public record about Lighthouse Global.

The fully evidenced reality demands answers. Those who appoint themselves as judges of truth cannot be permitted to conceal their own deception while publicly condemning alleged falsehoods in others.

Oh dear. What a perfect fit… in Marianna Spring, someone who is lying to climb the career ladder, and the BBC, a den of people selling their souls for their careers. Disinformation expert indeed, the very definition of embodying it.

How is the BBC’s hypocrisy and bare faced shameless entitlement to rub their blatant double standards and ignoble character in our faces! You couldn’t make it up and believe it. This is the arrogance that is thankfully leading faster and faster to the institution’s downfall as more and more are waking up to what and who The BBC really are. Thank God.

Marianna Spring slotted into the BBC perfectly…put on the face of apparent responsibility taking and then carry on like nothing happened, in this case, she enjoys an investigative role…which is hilarious in itself. The BBC are enablers, they enabled and covered up multiple incidents of sexual abuse involving many of their staff and so this is no surprise, the Disinformation correspondent, who herself doesn’t tell the truth….

Not only that but Marianna Spring was featured in the BBC’s laughable war for the truth advert recently. It is outrageous that they didn’t fire her immediately upon finding out she lied on her CV considering her position in a fact checking and disinformation role!

Wow, this could almost be comedy if it wasn’t such as serious issue and so ironic. You literally can’t make this up. I bet this journalist would be so morally high and mighty when it comes to the wrong doing or potential wrong doing of others but would never look at her own or inside the BBC. I can see that’s she well trained in the BBC MO of lie, silence, move on and repeat.

It seems fitting that the BBC would have someone like Marianna Spring, who lied on her CV, serving as its disinformation officer. The BBC is a master of deception and propaganda, and it is time to stop the lies, stop the abuse of innocent citizens, and stop the manipulation and control of the public.

It is astounding to see the level of hypocrisy within the BBC and the contrast between what it presents on the surface and what actually goes on behind the scenes. It does make you wonder whether there were other candidates who could have taken on this role, yet they chose to continue with Marianna Spring. If so, that raises serious questions about the organisation’s judgement and decision-making.

Marianna Spring is a complete fit for the character profile to work at the BBC. She lies to get what she wants. Not the kind of character profile I would like to have…

Do as I say – Not as I do!
This is the BBC’s mantra and is characterised by Marianna Spring. This is exactly the hypocrisy that fuels the drive to defund The BBC and hold them to account for their criminal behaviours.

What a contradiction!! But that’s the nature of the BBC and the kind of people they attract. They are hypocrites for sure, but that’s the least of it. Worse than that, they are evil. It’s becoming hard not to say that about them.

The BBC tries so hard to position themselves as the protector of truth, but BBC Verify is fronted by someone like Marianna Spring who lied on her CV.

Ironically the whole BBC Verify initiative was launched by the disgraced ex-CEO of BBC News, Deborah Turness. Ms Turness resigned from her role after the deliberate splicing of Donald Trump’s speech on 6th January 2021.
