What do you think of Tommy Robinson?
This seemingly simple question has divided families, friendships, churches, mosques, and even the country itself, all across the United Kingdom.
And how are these opinions largely formed? Because we saw a story about him in the media?
We live in a world where increasingly, opinions are formed on a very short intake of information, usually through mainstream or social media. This is no accident. Much of the mainstream media operates less like a competitive marketplace and more like a narrative cartel — institutions that ultimately share the same interest: protecting their power to control what you and us, the public, thinks.
And when someone threatens that power by revealing narratives that the mainstream have deliberately hidden, they quickly become a target.
A recent phone conversation between Tommy Robinson and Connor Stringer, an editor at the Daily Telegraph reveals exactly how this dynamic works.
The Deliberate Abuse of Media Power
As you will hear, during the call, Robinson asks a straightforward question: Why do the Daily Telegraph and the British mainstream media outlets constantly label his political stance as “far right”?
If journalism is supposed to be objective, then such labels should be based on clear evidence. Yet when Robinson challenges the description, Mr Stringer does not provide any explanation. Instead, he absconds responsibility and his involvement in this lie. He simply states that such descriptions are editorial decisions.
This admission is revealing.
The words used by media outlets that shape and mould your perceptions, are editorial decisions. This manipulates your thoughts to make you think something that is not guaranteed to be true. While a journalist at the lower rungs excuses themselves by saying “I was just doing my job”.
Once a person is labelled “far right,” many people will immediately dismiss and reject them without even listening to what they have to say. The label functions as a shortcut for public judgment. It is not about debate. It is about enforcing an identity on that person that the public are expected to either warm to, or in this case, fear and hate. This is inhumane. We’re talking about human beings here. These are real individuals, who are now branded and outcast from parts of society, because of their hard-earned beliefs and sincere actions.

Why People Like Tommy Robinson Threaten Media Power
For decades, mainstream newspapers and broadcasters held near total control over public information.
They decided which stories reached the public. They determined who was “respectable” and who was to be blacklisted. If the media ignored someone, that person effectively disappeared from national conversation. But the rise of independent online media changed everything.
Individuals like Robinson can now reach millions directly through digital social media platforms, bypassing traditional gatekeepers entirely. This represents a profound threat to the power that legacy media institutions wield if those individuals spread information that does not suit the mainstream agenda.

If millions of people begin listening to voices outside the traditional press, this erodes and destroys the mainstream media’s power to shape national narratives and coercively control how you see and think about the world around you.
In other words, it is not simply Robinson’s views that concern them. It is his ability to weaken their power and coercive control over you. This is why they did not report on the success of his documentary, “Silenced”, as he raises in the video above.
For a media industry that claims to defend transparency and serve the public interest, this silence raises serious questions. If a figure with a massive following is imprisoned after producing a film alleging judicial corruption, why would the national press refuse to report on that film?
The explanation comes back to power again. Robinson’s work, as with other individuals, undermines the power and tyrannical control of the very institutions the mainstream media is closely aligned with. So protecting those institutions ultimately protects the media’s own influence. The mainstream media protects the Establishment and the scams they operate. For them to champion someone who is showing the involvement of public institutions such as the police and judiciary in relation to jugular issues such as the rape gangs, would be suicide for them.
The Case Of Paul S. Waugh And The BBC
In a similar way that Tommy Robinson has been attacked for wanting to show the public the scams of the Establishment, Lighthouse and Paul S. Waugh were attacked by the BBC because of being committed for over 20 years to enabling human beings truly realise their God-given potential. That is a far cry from the delusions and lies which the self-help industry promotes to help people build better fake personalities. No, at Lighthouse, we are committed to empowering people to become highly intellectual, incredibly well-resourced, well networked, extremely responsible, spirited individuals operating in community. The Establishment would never want that to happen, or they would lose their tyrannical power they wield over you. This is why they attacked us pre-emptively before we could scale nationally and globally.
Our aim at Lighthouse has been to empower the human being by identifying and removing the barriers, obstacles and restraining forces that prevent us from realising our God-given potential, so that we never have to say no where we ought to say yes, inside our souls, inside our homes and outside them. If this were to happen on a global scale, that would mean hundreds of millions of people building immense Theochristological, human, material and financial wealth. It would mean that we would no more regard the odd billionaire so highly, because vast numbers of us would be involved in the generation of human, material and financial value in all areas of life and business! The Establishment would be terrified of this! Many would also have a stronger relationship with God, which would further mean that the Establishment could not control through fear and submission!

It is crucial to understand that the Establishment goes to extreme lengths through the mainstream media to maintain control. It starts when you are a child, feeding you with nonsensical and at times demonic programmes under the guise of “children’s entertainment”. This goes further to indoctrinate you to obeying authority without question, no matter how corrupt that authority is. No matter how much it actually betrays and works against your best interests. Our work is at direct contrast to what they want: power to keep controlling the Theochristological, human, material and financial value you have access to.
In other words, we have been developing people to use their God-given ability to solve problems rather than run away from them. To think critically rather than to believe the mainstream media and to understand their aims to have power to control you. Hence, Lighthouse inevitably ended up smeared as a cult by the Establishment. The mainstream media as the mouthpiece of the Establishment needs to manipulate and control how you think so that you do what they say.
This is why they are terrified of inviting Paul S. Waugh for a real-time, live interview. Because they live in fear of the prospects of their deceitful, destructive, anti-human, anti-truth motives and methods being exposed. If they even dared to admit one falsehood or act of wrongdoing, then they would have to admit all of them. Just take a look at what happened when the BBC’s Panorama tried to trap Tommy Robinson… he completely turned the tables on them and exposed the BBC, including their then-journalist John Sweeney for their lies and manipulation. The below is a short clip from Robinson’s documentary “Panodrama”:
How Easily The Mainstream Media Can Manipulate Our Thinking
The mainstream media wants to control our thinking. Therefore, they play on our fear, our ignorance and prejudices. Hence the Daily Telegraph uses the term “far right” to describe Tommy Robinson’s political view, when the reality is if he was being objectively assessed by academics who understand the objective political spectrum, he would be regarded as a lot more centre-right!
In this video below, the comedian humorously shows how little the masses apply the “skill” of critical thinking. This involves listening to both sides of a story or issue before forming an independent opinion. This process of evaluating multiple perspectives and then making an informed judgment is something that is almost never taught in schools, because once again, the Establishment do not want the masses to be able to think for themselves, choose for themselves and therefore create meaningful human, material and financial value! They want us ordinary people to be numb, dumb, non-thinking automatons who will obey their orders and suggestions.
The Real Solution – Training on How The Mainstream Media Deceive You

The solution to this problem does not lie in a blanket censorship of the entire press. A free press remains essential to democracy. But freedom of the press must be matched by responsibility and by public awareness. While we are still dealing with a corrupt mainstream media, the short term essential protection for citizens is understanding how modern media actually works.
People need to recognise and discern the deceptive techniques used to shape perception. This includes but is not limited to:
- Using the truth when it suits them: in order to gain your trust so that when they do lie to you, you will not notice.
- Strategic labelling: Attaching simplified political tags to individuals to shape perception before their ideas are even heard.
- Selective reporting: Choosing which facts to highlight or omit in order to influence and shape your minds.
- Narrative framing: Presenting information in a way that guides the audience toward a particular interpretation.
- Ignoring inconvenient stories: Deliberately overlooking information that challenges or contradicts a preferred narrative.
- Psychological manipulation: using music and imagery to coerce your mind into believing what they deliver without question.
- Repetition: across multiple outlets to create the illusion of consensus.
Once citizens understand these mechanisms, the media loses much of the power it derives from controlling perception.

Because the greatest source of media influence is not simply its reach. It is the public’s trust and passive acceptance of what they are told. When the public begins questioning narratives rather than automatically accepting them, the balance of power shifts. And that is precisely what powerful institutions fear most. In the end, the battle surrounding figures like Tommy Robinson is not simply about politics. It is about who controls the narrative. And ultimately, who controls the minds of the public.
As a result Lighthouse will soon be introducing training to help you understand how the mainstream media uses deception to control you. Far from hiding from the BBC broadcast “A Very British Cult”, we want hundreds of millions of people around the globe to watch it! We will then show you the propaganda techniques of the BBC to manipulate what you thought, so that you can see how this abuse of their power operates in other situations that affect you directly and indirectly, far more than you are currently aware of.
If you want to find out how you can take part in this training to discern media deception, register your details below.

I remember the day it dawned on me the mistake I’d made with Tommy Robinson, but it was only through searching for the facts myself. And that was only because of our experiences at Lighthouse. I saw for myself, the reality of the work he had done to interview the victims of the rape gangs in the UK, the way he’d exposed John Sweeney and the BBC, and I realised a very uncomfortable truth, that I had thought this man was someone he wasn’t. Worse still, even after realising the truth, I could feel the social stigma and fear-factor of even uttering his name. I’ve sat with people who’ve asked me that very question, what do you think of him? And they’re worried of what I’ll say, because he’s become such a dividing figure. Through my and our experiences, I have a small, but only small glimpse into what he and Paul Waugh have suffered. They’ve both had to make massive sacrifices. Both had their families devastated. Both had to give up so much. But Paul is not a journalist reporting on others’ wrongdoings. He’s been fighting and suffering to serve and protect me and many others from abusers and extremely dangerous people. His reward from this world has been to be murderously hated and attacked. Those responsible for the attacks have no conscience and no sense to care about the damage and destruction they’ve caused. But I trust God, that He will vindicate his warriors and his servants. And He will always ensure that everything hidden, every lie and attack, will be exposed at the right time.
I confess that I’ve definitely been guilty of misjudging who I thought Tommy Robinson is and was definitely sucked in to way the mainstream media portrayed him. Looking back I never heard what he said himself! It was always journalists “reporting” what he said ie misrepresenting and misreporting what he said. It’s disgraceful what they get away with because of their reach.
There is so much heresy in the media about individuals we often know very little about. Even in cases where we think we know more, we have to ask: is the truth really being shown to us?
It’s so important that we learn to discern what is being falsely labelled onto someone, so that we can give an accurate and objective account of who they are and what they are going through. Otherwise, truth itself begins to lose its value—when in reality, it is the most precious thing we can hold onto, ultimately found in the person of Jesus Christ.
Thank you for this in-depth article, which helps expose how the media can influence and hold power over us in ways we might not ordinarily be aware of. It also encourages us to grow in awareness, so that we can better support and help one another.
Thank you very much.
What an article. Thank you so much for taking the time to write this, to do the research and share the truth behind the mainstream media. We are scammed into believing that what is reported on the news, or written in news papers is true, because it’s the media. This is how the establishment wants it, that way they can control what we hear and read, and therefore manipulate how we think. Tommy Robinson went against them so they went for him to destroy and silence him. Like Paul S. Waugh, they went for the wrong man. Neither are going away. I look forward to further articles, thank you so much…
I very much based my whole opinion on the likes of Tommy Robinson and Donald Trump purely from media narratives. In the case of Tommy Robinson, just the thought of him was terrifying because of the publicity that he had garnered.
Now, whilst there are some things that I don’t agree with in terms of what he says or how he says it, that’s very different to being presented as the Number 1 Enemy of the UK State.
What changed for me was watching the documentary Panodrama. I found the evidence compelling that confirmed our experience of the BBC’s bias was not unique to us at Lighthouse.
I find it very telling that every mainstream media journalist is terrified of watching Tommy Robinson’s documentary Silenced. Surely if reporting in a fair way, then it would be important to see what he looked to broadcast and was prepared to go to jail for?
It’s a case like this that shows how needed our work is to educate the public on how to understand the mainstream media and their deception tactics. We need discernment, and dare I say it, critical thinking!
Thank you very much for making it explicitly clear, what Lighthouse is working to achieve and how we have been helped and are helping others. This is critical, not only for our fellow citizens to know, but to give clear context as to why the BBC smeared us.
In real-time we saw in the first clip, exactly what the mainstream are like, with their seemingly harmless questions and already decided narratives. What I have seen over these last five years regarding some of the mainstream media and their clear collusion with the Establishment, has really floored me at times. The sheer gall and unconscionability shown in order to control the narratives, to control what we think…God have mercy on them all 🙏
The mainstream media know just how powerful their smears are because they know just how susceptible we the public are to being completely swayed by them. They know that the public has been trained and conditioned for this over decades and decades. This has been happening for as long as media has existed, indeed I believe it’s the main reason media was created, was to enable mass indoctrination and control. They know that a smear is like a stain that will follow a person wherever they go because there will always be that doubt in people’s minds. They know the techniques for manipulation and control, the constant repeated simplified messages and soundbites echoed again and again. As the Nazis knew, tell the lie often and frequently enough and the people will swallow it. Edward Bernays who’s quoted here was the father of propaganda, nephew of Sigmund Freud and a master manipulator of the public psyche. The best defence against them is knowing how the mainstream media operate and what their agendas and motives are, the more we understand that, the Master Scamtologists and their Scamtopian system, we can see what’s really happening. Bless Tommy Robinson. He has fought for years against this and it’s only now that the public are slowly starting to catch up. But when you have the truth and more so, you have God, you will always prevail.
Thank you for this article. It helped me realise how deeply mainstream media has shaped my perception of people and situations, and how often I judged others based solely on their reporting. Looking back, I can see how this created a significant bias within me.
Media organisations such as the BBC have the power to shape narratives, and that power can be used in ways that unfairly influence public opinion or damage reputations. Whether it concerns figures like Tommy Robinson or Paul Waugh, similar patterns of reporting can emerge that support a particular agenda.
I wasn’t aware of the extent to which media can mislead or manipulate, and I wish I had developed a clearer understanding of this earlier in my life.
To have training in this field is essential and I see how this is the solution to expose lies and wrongdoings of the mainstream media and to regain control of our lives without being influenced by external forces.
God bless those who have suffered as a result of misrepresentation or unjust reporting.
I used to work in media, for a trade magazine in the boat building industry.
Even at this low level, backwater of media influence, the ‘editorial decisions’ were evident and made off the cuff, rather than following the actual reality of what is going on in the world.
There is a level of editorial necessity to get an article in a magazine to finish at the end of a printed page. There will be the same necessity in broadcast media to get a report to end on a particular second, before the next element of the broadcast starts. We can all accept that.
What we can not accept is the over reaching of editors to now, in my case, change technical words chosen specifically for their meaning just because it’s too long a word. Or, that the interview piece with a company owner is ‘actually a story and I’m sure it will turn out alright in the end’.
If the decisions I’ve seen made are happening at this low, relatively inconsequential level, then what decisions are made on our behalf at national and international, live news broadcast levels?
I’m convinced now, having been on both sides of the fence, that what is shown to us by mainstream media is 90% fake.
When they report anything, I’m sure something happened (10% believable) but not for the reasons The BBC are telling me.
I value Tommy Robinson, as he has taken the hits, and one big thing I see is that the truth prevails. No amount of lying can defeat someone who stands firm. All those tactics the mainstream media uses work on the uneducated initially, and they have for so long got away with it, but slowly people are waking up to what they are seeing, and trust in the mainstream media is at an ever increasing low.
This is shocking and infuriating. Identity shouldn’t be up for manipulation, yet mainstream media relentlessly tries to frame people like Tommy Robinson in ways that ignore the truth. Repeated narratives can’t change reality, but they can poison perception and silence voices. Seeing this laid out so clearly drives home how fiercely we need to defend truth and justice.
