Publisher’s Note: Grave Concern for Jeffrey Leigh-Jones
We care about Jeffrey Leigh-Jones deeply and are publishing these articles about him out of grave concern for him. We are having to balance the need to reveal the truth of his wrongs, while also deeply caring for the fragile state he is in. You can read our full publisher’s note on this at the end of the article.
Exposing Fake Whistleblowers
This article is the third in a series of articles exposing fake whistleblowers, through the case of Jeffrey Leigh-Jones. You can find part I here and part II here. Jeffrey was a client at Lighthouse Global between 2019-2022. He was beloved and adored even, by all of us here at Lighthouse, yet he chose to sell himself to the BBC for a brief moment of what is ultimately infamy, by fake whistleblowing on Paul S. Waugh and Lighthouse. We have tried many attempts to help Jeffrey repent and make his wrongs right and he has foolishly ignored or rejected them all. This series serves as a crucial education to Christians and citizens as to what fake whistleblowing is, how it works and how to hold any fake whistleblower accountable to their wrongdoing.
The Fatal Weakness of a Fake Whistleblower
“Whoever hates disguises himself with his lips and harbours deceit in his heart; when he speaks graciously, believe him not, for there are seven abominations in his heart.” (Proverbs 26:24–25)
What if the person claiming to “expose wrongdoing” is actually terrified of being exposed?
What if the entire performance depends on one fragile condition?
And what happens when time, pressure, evidence, or simple questioning starts pulling at the loose threads?
As we continue to expose what a fake whistleblower is, through our first case study of Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, this article exposes the one fundamental flaw that undoes every fake whistleblower
The Unwillingness to Work Hard: The Laziness That Self-Deception Produces
Once someone decides they will not face the whole truth in their own soul, something else happens inside them: they become allergic to necessary work and suffering. Because to find the whole truth in ourselves and in life, requires hard work. This is not some magical formula, this is a basic prerequisite! Not for Lighthouse, but for anything in life!
Truth requires patience, detail, correction, humility, endurance, and consistency over time. Truth requires a person to stay present when the questions get uncomfortable. Truth requires a person to carry the burden of clarity, even when it costs them.
But deception trains a different muscle: avoidance.
Jeffrey Leigh-Jones embodies this apathetic state, because the fake whistleblower always wants the authority of truth without the labour of truth. Jeffrey wants to accuse without being examined. Jeffrey wants the benefits of appearing brave without paying the cost of standing in the light.
This is why the video below is so important as part of educating citizens about fake whistleblowers. It shows the pattern in lived form: when truth-work is required, the fake whistleblower’s posture gravitates to the low-effort route — delay, deflection, disappearance, narrative maintenance, and the hope that time will bury what truth will eventually uncover. This video is a shocking eye-opener because it shows how low Jeffrey’s work ethic truly was and is.
To give context, Jeffrey was a client investing in himself at Lighthouse to grow and optimise his life. Yet he struggled to grasp basic concepts of life, living and business. For a long time he struggled in his battle with alcoholism. And despite his stated intentions that he really wanted to help others, he was not able or willing to mentor anyone else. He could not research and could barely focus on anything. He could barely commit much time or energy to any meetings, and it was almost impossible to schedule regular meetings with him. This is a man-child, who was broken by his family who was trying to build his life but was woefully unprepared even to learn at the most basic level. So we had to find ways to help Jeffrey be involved at some level that he could handle. During his time at Lighthouse, we would have daily morning meetings to discuss a vast number of crucial issues across the fields of life and business. This was, and is work of pioneering research, insights, questions that we have maintained full and accurate records of, over two decades. Paul S. Waugh also constantly wanted to be challenged in his findings throughout the years. As with any research project, or any large business that understands the value of their work, having accurate records is vital.
Therefore, before the advent of AI in the mainstream, several of our team would transcribe the meetings live. Jeffrey was invited to be involved out of consideration, given he was unable and unwilling to do much else. Was this an easy practice for those involved? No, but a lot easier than mentoring or coaching other human beings every day and certainly a lot easier than running a business, which Jeffrey claimed he wanted to do. Jeffrey did not come to Lighthouse for an “easy” ride. He came here to build his life, develop himself to the highest standards, and build businesses that would inspire younger generations to aspire to the greatest heights. Or so he claimed. Yet, with all of these aspirations, Jeffrey was not even prepared to transcribe for a few hours per day, as part of his learning, growth and development into a leader and entrepreneur. Any leader worth their salt, as you’ll see in the video, will tell you that they had to put in the hard, unglamorous, repetitive work, day in and day out. He complained to us at Lighthouse that he did not want to transcribe some of these meetings, because it was too hard for him and it was too boring for him.
The Fantasy of Shackleton vs The Reality of Being Shackled by Self Delusion and Self Deceit
Ernest Shackleton’s expeditions demanded daily labour that was brutal and sustained: hauling heavy sledges across ice, operating in massive uncertainty, often with very little sleep in the extreme cold, enduring months of exhaustion with minimal food, and surviving constant danger — frostbite, starvation, crushing ice, and crevasses. He worked alongside his men, shared rations, maintained structure, and carried the psychological weight of keeping every single man alive when he and his crew faced grave danger.
Jeffrey Leigh-Jones has held up Ernest Shackleton as a symbol of adventure and greatness — but what Jeffrey wanted was the fantasy and the recognition of Shackleton, not the reality. Shackleton’s legacy was not built on image, mood, or storytelling. It was built on suffering, endurance, and relentless work under conditions that would break most men, under constant threat to life and limb to him and his men.
Now contrast that with Jeffrey Leigh-Jones. Someone who wanted to be seen as an adventurer, seen as courageous, seen as heroic — but he was not even prepared to do the simplest forms of disciplined labour in ordinary conditions.
This is why, even if Jeffrey did achieve his goal of going to the South Pole, it would have been a charade. It would have been all about him! Wanting to appear as the hero and appease his coercive mother, sister, his toxic girlfriend most of all as well as his friends… essentially show off. It was never about true self-sacrifice. It was never about service to others. It was always about him. So of course, Jeffrey jumped when pushed by his toxic girlfriend to be the BBC’s “star” of their show! He wanted his 15 minutes of fame! In the end, he did get to be the so-called “star”, or rather the disaster.. he got his brief moment of fame along with his abusive girlfriend Dawn Ingram… he even got to pretend to be the hero. But as with everything fake and illusory, it ended abruptly. Jeffrey has been spat out by the BBC because he has been used by the Establishment’s mouthpiece. He has served his purpose.
“The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.” – Psalm 11:18
Jeffrey’s problem is not that he lacked an inspiring role model. His problem was not that Paul S. Waugh or anyone at Lighthouse was coercively controlling. It was not that he was “made” to do anything he was not able to do. His problem in plain English is that he was and is incredibly lazy. He does not have the appetite to work hard for what is good and right. It is a chronic unwillingness to suffer for goals and dreams. This is common with all fake whistleblowers! It is because they can’t tolerate true, genuine work, that they have to resort to parading as an angel of light! They have no other recourse when they are so desperate to be liked and approved by their family, their friends and their peers, which certainly Jeffrey was desperate to be.
This entire experience of Jeffrey’s fake whistleblowing, before, during and after the attacks on us have been priceless. They have been immensely beneficial to our empirical and experiential research at Lighthouse Global. We have learned so much from our experiences with Jeffrey and every single fake whistleblower who tried, and failed miserably, to destroy us.
“For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light.” (Mark 4:22)
As a fascinating and chilling side note, The BBC’s “A Very British Cult” was released three years ago this week, on the 5th April 2023… “Spy Wednesday”. The same day in Biblical history that Judas Iscariot acted on his betrayal of Jesus Christ, by selling him out to the Pharisees for 30 pieces of silver. We do not know if or how much Jeffrey was paid for selling out Paul S. Waugh and Lighthouse, but we find the timing of the programme’s release uncanny to say the least.
A word to fake whistleblowers
If you have built your story on omission, distortion, or malice, understand this: it will not hold.
You don’t have the appetite for the truth. You can lie, deceive and go to the media all you like, but you simply don’t have the will or the work ethic to see your malicious intentions through. You are lazy and arrogant. Whether that’s Jeffrey Leigh-Jones, Richard Thomas, Joanne Holmes, Martin Francis, Tania Francis or any of the BBC involved in fake whistleblowing, your time is up.
We on the other hand – Lighthouse Global and all soldiers of Christ – are just getting started. We will campaign, protest, publish articles, documentaries, construct purpose-built communities to build value and solve problems, every day for the rest of our lives. We will never stop. We are, thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ, relentless in our pursuit of justice, truth, compensation and reform. And if that reform means that the likes of the BBC need to shut down for the genuine public interest—something that is long overdue—then so be it.
A word to those who want to expose fake whistleblowers
If you are one of the many trying to bring deception to account: do not lose heart.
We are exposing fake whistleblowers, one by one; by name, through evidence, documentation, and lawful, peaceful means. You are not alone in this.
And if the betrayal is closer than you ever imagined; if a fake whistleblower is within your own family, know this: we know and have lived through the unique pain and vulnerability that creates. We are developing the means and resources to help protect people from such betrayal and abuse, and to stand with those who have been targeted.
Keep your footing in truth: be careful, be thorough, be patient, and refuse the temptation to become like the deceivers you are confronting. If you need help, please reach out by contacting us below.
Full Publisher’s Note: Grave Concern for Jeffrey Leigh-Jones
We care about Jeffrey Leigh-Jones deeply and are publishing these articles about him out of grave concern for him. We literally have thousands of pages that we could write about the tragic case of Jeffrey; his psychopathology, his lies, his deceptions and the choices that led to his downfall. What we are sharing in this series of articles is just a small fragment. He and his malicious cohorts have sought to destroy Lighthouse, thinking that the BBC would take the hit for them. We know the BBC will try to wash their hands of this criminal attack on Lighthouse. We pray for the redemption of these predators, as well as Jeffrey – a victim of his own family, turned fake whistle-blower.
Over three years, we have pursued legal, lawful, civil and peaceful avenues to gain a full and comprehensive right to reply, to every falsehood and malicious lie in the BBC’s hit-piece programme “A Very British Cult”. We have done this with full counter-evidence and facts. With public evidence displayed and individual websites we have created about each of these fake whistle-blowers, there has been no retort in any way, from the BBC. With the magnitude of the legal department they have, the BBC have the power, resources and clout to be able to sue anyone they please on a whim. Yet they’ve not tried to legally prosecute Lighthouse. The fact that Lighthouse Global has not received one lawyer’s letter in this time is damning to the BBC – because they know that everything we publish is provably true and they cannot refute one single fact. They also know that no genuine, thorough, impartial investigation ever took place by the BBC into Lighthouse or Paul S. Waugh, despite our encouragement and efforts to bring this about. Nor was the due time, money and effort spent on investigating their fake whistle-blowers such as Jeffrey.
We are never going to stop in obtaining justice and holding all of these fake whistle-blowers individually accountable. While they acted collectively, they stand alone as cold, timid individuals in their culpability and accountability. The Establishment and these fake whistle-blowers targeted us through hundreds of lies and malicious falsehoods, broadcast to millions globally. With all the evidence we have, the full and comprehensive truth is coming out imminently. We will in no way let this drag out for 10 or 20 years, as the Establishment have done with so many of their other victims. All Glory to God.

The way transcribing is depicted in this programme is laughable. Something ordinary and fundamental to good record keeping, made out to be sinister.
Jeffrey is proving to be an increasingly tragic and concerning case. The big bravado and manly image he portrayed and the BBC fuelled, covered up a very insecure boy, who couldn’t handle basic fundamentals of hard work. It’s a message to myself and everyone, that as you say, the necessary suffering required to achieve one’s goals and dreams is real and far beyond most people’s capacity or willingness. But the truth would be embarrassing to Jeffrey, so he could not give that account to the BBC while still wanting to appear as the hero. I really hope he uses this to turn around and do the right thing. Tell the truth about the BBC and his toxic family/girlfriend. God help you Jeffrey.
We’ve worked long and hard to learn what we have at Lighthouse. We’ve dared to ask and strived to answer questions that few, if any, have ever asked over the course of human history. We’re trying to solve problems that cause immense pain and suffering to millions, if not billions, across the globe. This is not for the faint-hearted, we’ve been dedicated to our research… we’ve engaged with tens of thousands of people, we’ve extended ourselves hugely because there’s been a bigger vision for ourselves and our work individually and collectively. Jeffrey was drawn to what we’re working towards; investing in himself and others to further our work.
An incredible amount of hard work had been done before setting one foot into Lighthouse. He, and the other BBC sources, somehow thought that success at Lighthouse would be immediate with little effort required. When Jeffrey joined we were operating in a challenging and uncertain time with COVID and lockdowns etc. We were navigating these circumstances that had a grave impact on us, our families and existing clients. Jeffrey clearly loved the romantic idea of success, but not the work required.
May God help Jeffrey Leigh-Jones.
I thought the lines that said this summed this sad tale up so well: “the fake whistleblower always wants the authority of truth without the labour of truth… wants the benefits of appearing brave without paying the cost of standing in the light.” That’s the essence of a fake whistleblower. It adds up that who Jeffrey is and how much he wants all the fruits of success but isn’t willing to put in the hard graft to achieve that, that he ended up becoming a fake whistleblower. Ironically, given what he’s shown himself to be, there’s no way Earnest Shackleton would have even considered him for the lowest rank/role of his expedition. I pray Jeffrey may wake up to this, if God’s will and grace would allow him to swallow the bitter pills of truth to humble himself, repent and turn things around where Judas failed to.
Super powerful article. There is so much here for me to reflect on within myself, but regarding Jeffrey, he sold out to those who had harmed him in the first place, which makes this all the more tragic. He was finally receiving the mentorship, love, and support he never had growing up, yet, for all the reasons stated above, he threw it away. I pray that he reads this article, takes it to heart, and returns to the understanding he once had of why he was involved in the first place—to learn how to be willing to suffer for what is good, right, and pure, as we are all striving to do here. May God help and protect him, and us all.
I was shocked when I saw that transcripts were in AVBC! Wow, if you can make transcripts an issue, then you literally can make anything an issue. I pray for Jeffrey. So sad that he felt the need to lie when he was treated so well and with so much kindness. I hope he finds the peace that he was looking for. Except I hope it is in Christ.
Thank you for this article. It’s a powerful reminder that delusion ultimately leads nowhere, and that the truth has a way of surfacing in time. The contrast between Jeffrey Lee-Jones and Ernest Shackleton is striking, one highlighting the consequences of deception, the other a model of integrity, endurance, and leadership.
I pray that Jeffrey comes to recognise his wrongdoing and finds the humility to repent. False whistleblowing is deeply damaging and should be taken seriously.
It’s also a reminder that anything truly meaningful requires suffering, perseverance, and often long, careful research. There are no shortcuts to building something of real value.
God bless.
I agree with the point that Jeffery did this to look like a hero, he has that need for recognition. But I do believe he is in a world of pain, knowing in his heart that it is all lies what he did and with the BBC’s intention to stain our reputation, so in his head the lie would have stuck, but it has not and now the slow consequence is here.
Through this journey with Lighthouse, the initial lies had weight, people were believing them, but as time has gone and we are still here, the lies do not match reality. Why would guilty people still be shouting their innocence, still bringing evidence to the table. I feel and pray for Jeffery. God bless him.
The video you have shown shows what it takes if you want to be a success in life. Hard work and willingness to suffer are fundamental; without them, nothing will happen. We all need to be willing to suffer for what we want. Christ suffered the most excruciating pain and suffering leading up to and while on the cross, why? Becasue He was willing and wanted to for the sake of humanity.
Thank you for sharing this article, and for the time, effort and hard work it took to write it so that you could help us to understand more about fake whistleblowers.
I pray for Jeffrey. If he saw transcribing as hard work, then how can he ever achieve what he wants to in life? God wants us to work hard, to be willing to suffer, so that we can grow and develop. He wants us to keep growing and keep learning. He wants the very best for us.
God bless us all…
“Truth requires patience, detail, correction, humility, endurance, and consistency over time. Truth requires a person to stay present when the questions get uncomfortable. Truth requires a person to carry the burden of clarity, even when it costs them. But deception trains a different muscle: avoidance”
Thank you for the depth of understanding into the true character of a fake whistleblower, in this case Jeffrey. The paragraph above is powerful because we need to understand what it really takes and what you must root in to be truthful, to live truthfully, to honour truth.
If Jeffrey told the truth about his admiration for Ernest Shackleton and that he liked the idea of what comes with achieving such feats as he did but not the hard work required, the video would not have been so damningly spot on.
As has been said, we are only getting started and whilst we are, we continue to pray for Jeffrey and everyone who has attacked us.
The truth will out.
I feel very sorry for Jeffery and I hope that he is well, but his actions need to be held to account as do those of his girlfriend and all the other fake whistleblowers.
This work at Lighthouse is hard, difficult and painful, as well as immensely rewarding and empowering.
There is no shame in taking one’s time in doing the work of restoring your own ability to realise your full potential. However don’t then attack those who tried to help you.
